A bit of both..

Big Wing fellas told me they didn't expect their bikes to be to hot selling compared to Yamaha, but demand increased for all models.

On the other hand, no bikes coming from principle, very limited units.

It reached a point that some big wings stop taking orders for some models e.g. X-ADV750.

Many speculative reasons, most say lack of chips the main cause.

Actual reason unknown.

I think all the bikes in Big Wing are imported, mainly from Thailand.
Suspect falling RM can also be another problem.

Shipping lanes and containers availability are easing up now. Hopefully entire supply chain will ease up sooner to cover back log

Big Wing Setapak confirms in their FB posting. Based on BSH's communication to them, all booking since March 22 can only be fulfilled next year. Blame on global chip shortage.

Was at Big Wing few days back 'cos go to service my little scooter and walk over Big Wing.

Few salesman resigned liao, cannot cari makan 'cos no bike to sell..

Last month some shipment arrived including a few X-ADV750 they went a little happy but after that, even the staple 250R also no where to be seen.

My Forza booked in Apr 2021 until now shadow also no see... kept my booking there so I can switch to ADV350 when it eventually come laaaah.

That's what I told the boss... better tutup big wing liao... start sell Yamaha

Used market also price very high.

Honda Forza is appearing in Big Wings now, after 1.5 years of absent.

Ok lah.. slowly but surely, bikes are coming in.

I don't know what are new ones coming, I am not interested in those big bikes except scooter. However, I am surely seeing stock being replenished very slooooowly at Big Wings. Compared to before there was zero movement on big bikes or CBU bikes. Also pretty definite about the ADV350 as they are beginning to compile list of takers.

Let’s just say I have faith in Honda Thailand to give the finger to BSH on request to custom build 250 from 330 for a really really small market, a trouble proven futile in the case of Forza… they cannot adopt the 250 from Forza cos that engine is already phased out.

If BSH die die want to sell it premium due to success of XADV750, there’s a good chance they may make it work with the ADV350 at just below the price point of a CB500X

Seriously, pricing of Modenas Kawasaki is causing a stir in the market.

Versys 650 going at 36k, same price as Honda CB500X.
Many will go for Versys.

If ADV350 goes at 35k, many will think many times over except rare fools like me that want only scooter.

I am only into santai santai makan angin sana sini not into zoom zoom broom broom riding.
Even on higher cc bike, I am going 80-90km/h.

Also not a person into style. Just want a scooter with high enough handlebar to clear my long legs and easy ride, with plenty storage under my arse.


Hahahaha... not hard core lah... blame my 183cm height with long legs.
Tested a lot of scooters only the ADV150/160 have handlebar that cleared my legs.

The 750 is too big not enough storage under my arse so not considering it.

Booked the Forza / Xmax for it's larger storage but both their handlebar will hit my legs on tight turns.

When heard rumors of ADV350.. I know my mind is made.

All that he said were expected, there isn't a surprise to me. The only "surprise" is the comment on how shitty his XMax 300 feels like after riding the ADV350.
