Big Wing fellas told me they didn't expect their bikes to be to hot selling compared to Yamaha, but demand increased for all models.

On the other hand, no bikes coming from principle, very limited units.

It reached a point that some big wings stop taking orders for some models e.g. X-ADV750.

Many speculative reasons, most say lack of chips the main cause.

Actual reason unknown.

I think all the bikes in Big Wing are imported, mainly from Thailand.
Suspect falling RM can also be another problem.

Most probably so. Compound effects. Not making it easier anytime soon.

yes all mainly import from thailand but falling RM is only against USD and not other currency. if it is due to foreign exchange, all other brands will be heavily affected also.

Which scooter model you ordered ?

Me too went to Big Wing. Sales person say those in queue for XADV most probably get next year

Really like the DCT models but damn those waiting time. Better consider getting other brands if rushing.

Shipping lanes and containers availability are easing up now. Hopefully entire supply chain will ease up sooner to cover back log

Some already waiting 5 month.

91bhp from 750cc parallel twin is insane. Honda really outdone itself this time.

But don't think we'll be seeing any of those engines in Malaysian market in 3 years time?

Honda Big wing JB informed me today.

There's have been no bike coming in since June.

They're saying it's probably chips shortage. But can't say for sure that the reason. The higher up didn't say anything.

And order keep coming in.

Big Wing Setapak confirms in their FB posting. Based on BSH's communication to them, all booking since March 22 can only be fulfilled next year. Blame on global chip shortage.
