I'm thinking of consuming diluted apple cider vinegar regularly as a supplement for gut health but have read that too much of it can erode tooth enamel.

Does anyone here have any experience drinking apple cider vinegar over a long period of time? Any affect on your teeth?

Consumed food in its original form instead of processed food. For gut health, try eating jackfruits.

Every food you eat affect your teeth.

A single tablespoon a day shouldn't be that much if you brush, floss and use mouthwash.

Had been consuming since 2020, about a very small cup each day. So far so good with teeth, but don't see any positive from taking it.

May I ask why are you still consuming it if you don't see any positives?

That's what I'm doing currently as well. How long did you drink it for? Any ill effect on your teeth? Are you still drinking it or you've stopped?

Dont let it linger. Finish the drink quickly and make sure you gargle immediately after that. Gargle few times.

That’s what i do daily for 1 year plus. So far ok.

vinegar is an original form of food. all food goes through some kind of natural process of life before reaching your mouth. if you consider a process of nature as "processed food" then you might as well starve to death as "original form" for you does not exist.

This I agree. Food from fermentation process is not the same as processed junk food.

Do your teeth feel rough or dry after drinking? Do you gargle with water immediately after drinking?

It is very acidic, so it's not good for teeth.

If you dilute with honey and water, then it is better and easier to drink.

I agree with the other poster, I don't see any positives too but once in a while I'll have bragg's apple cider vinegar (mixed with water), there's just something about it that gives you an instant wake and shock, better than coffee - and I am a heavy coffee drinker.

But lately this brand quite hard to find, don't really see it anymore in the supermarkets.

If anyone knows where to get it do post here.
