Lol the notch is still there. Basically, just changed the name to 14, remove sim tray and voila! New phone. Looks like Apple peaked their development nothing new to put in already.

Yes as the notch on Pro series are different

They will target the 14 Pro to folks who wants it and also to those who have been holding out for the last 4-5 years. iPhone 13 will be pushed towards the emerging markets at a lower price point.

if u think another way, u probably also consider to add a bit more to get 14 pro max instead since this year the camera is a huge upgrade.

not exactly same. becos it has more core. it is the same as A15 chip in iphone 13 pro. so still slighly better.

no one knows the RAM inside the new iphone 14 and 14 pro yet... this will be the interesting thing to discover.

Yeap, logically the 13 pro is a better buy, especially with 120hz... but considering we don't know the technical specs on the 14 yet, so it's hard to say for now... if I'm buying it tho, I would go with the newer one.. just personally felt newer is better when it comes to tech..

No lugi if u ask me. The pro has a lot a lot of ‘extras’ to justify for the higher price actually. So technically one does not really pay the higher price for nothing.

Unless the extra top up really make a big difference Becos of budget and one really bochap the extras for pro models then different story.

must let apple know that the sales of iphone 14/ 14 plus gonna be the most worst in the history.. then next year they won't put the old chip anymore.. but as we know.. apple like to marketing a lot.. so they learn something from the sales.. they might rename the chip in next year iphone to A17/A16X for normal (still using old chip from A16) and A17X ( real A17) for pro model.. then ppl will be fool by the chip name.. think they are buying a new chip.. haha

I think it's very obvious most people would go with 13 pro max.. the 14 plus will be redundant soon, very much to do with their pricing, it shouldn't be at this price.. maybe 1k cheaper would attract more buyers..

I wouldn't say its stupid to buy an old phone when new one is out though, not if the old is better than new, especially running on same processor (with 1 extra core) but loses out on a bunch of things like 120hz display and camera etc..even the finishing and built is much better and durable than the 14..

yw, imo its subject to personal perspective, some people want the best bang for their buck, some only want the latest and don't bother about internal spec... for me tho, I'd go with the 13 PM I thought the 14 plus was a better choice too initially, but after looking side by side comparison, the 13PM is still better..

to me yes the camera, but what's most important is the 120hz..if you come from 13pro you can't go back to normal 60hz..I'm using ipad mini 6 too and occasionally (and constantly) feel frustrated over the 60hz lol..

While by adding more rm150 u get 3 lens + 120hz , 13promax battery life is more more more than enough

seems the heat dissipation better in 14 lineup
although both 14 and 13 pro having same A15

new phone normally will have better cooling system , but u stil can attach a cooling fan if u really get in to serious high graphic games....

This year’s 14 series will only start selling once the 13 pro go completely out of stock…. 🤣

Agreed - the 13 Pro Max is the better choice while stocks last. I'm curious if the 14 Plus may have slightly better battery life given it's a 60hz refresh rate screen but it would be marginal and not reason enough to pick it over the 13 Pro Max.

If let say ip14plus battery is better among all iphone , but dont forgot the 13promax battery life is actually very insane....more than enough use for whole day long while enjoying the 120hz display

13 is still very good, if you are not in urgent need to upgrade then wait for another year, they might do something to 15 after poor revenue from 14..
