I also got 14 for my parents.
For them, it is still a lot better than their old iPhones.
They already using lighting cables for other accessories so no reason to get 15.

After going around the Machines store I do notice there are quite a lot of people actually looking at 14.

I believe Lightning port can still last for the next 5 years hahaha
Hopefully, my salary can increase also so I have an excuse to exchange to newer models in future hehe

14 series is an OK buy if not too much into power-intensive tasks and carries a power bank everywhere (and also not into AI stuffs)

Not sure why but my 14 uses more battery nowadays, maybe because I use Youtube Music/Spotify a lot and I see a huge drop in the battery health after the iOS 18 huge update.
