every player that comes to chelsea will become shit because everybody on the team is playing a safe pass rather than pass forward.

i rather see the players trying to pass forward and lose the ball at least try something.

Tactics & mentality problem

When passing lanes are blocked by opposition/man marking, manager needs to be proactive to switch things around
Also our current players got lazy attitude, some not willing to make the runs to create opportunity to be passed to, it's even more evident after timo left

Dunno how long this poor run of form will continue, but if players already don't believe and trust the process, might as well just declare that potter lost the dressing room

Our players cant even do the basic properly.....most of them are limited. Like have to spoon feed them.


We need all the help we can get this window....money not important ....we backed by a trillion investment group.

Completely agree on the previous discussion about safe passes, our confidence is in the gutter atm and players seem determined to turn back into midfield / defense 99% of the time just so we don't lose possession. Earlier in potter's reign you could see we were trying quicker penetrative passes through the middle, but after that winning run ended it's all gone to hell now.

Injury problems haven't helped but the coach has to take some of the blame as well , as he hasn't managed to beat that bad habit out of them.

However, the issue goes all the way back to tuchel's final few months, and I'm beginning to accept that sometimes you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Bring on carney. Bring on zakaria (who's been one of our best players recently). Bring on fofana. Bring on felix. Give these players who show more endeavour and attacking effort to prove themselves even further, so some of these senior players get a swift kick in their ego nuts.

Last time tuchel played winning football with 343 formation, with kante, james, chillwell, rudiger as the MVP

Tuchel played back 3 because of our aging backline, also to cover up deficiencies in midfield

Then all three start getting injured, rudiger left and players like jorginho, rlc, suddenly had to fill in roles they were not good at

Now potter wants to shoehorn the squad into back 4, the recent results are no surprise
