You are saying that if dyno Alza's 2nr-ve engine max 138Nm at crank, there would be a drivetrain gain instead of loss and the dyno at wheel then becomes more than 150Nm. Confirm?
*

why not. pull any dyno at low gear see d result flyyyy

that why dyno process always spool run first. wait gb upshift into heavvy ratio near 1:1.
after that gearbox no down shifting liao. with speedo-rpm formula together to calculate enjin output only (hp/nm).

dont forget 138nm is a peak number about 4000rpm.
how much nm at idle speed 1000rpm. how can a 1600kg move without multiplying outputs

even more easy example: play wheelspin.
tyre lose grip due to over power.

how could ppl do that at high gear, hold gas pedal & release clutch nope enjin die or clutch burn instead.

try again same using low gear. the tyre spinning smokes.

this proof that torque is multiply up greater than enjin output many times

I see some talks about the Alza being underpowered. Well, personally I don't think people who are in the market for this vehicle are looking for a powerful car. The main criteria is cheap, low price and value for money. Even though it may not be as powerful as other MPV with larger capacity engine, it would still be manageable. In other words, the car will still be able to move on the roads or get up to Genting Highlands full load.

The main target of the Alza apart from low price is the comfort of passengers sitting at the 2nd and 3rd row, not so much on the driver wanting a sporty handling or powerful car. That's what I think.

And to further expand on my point, the Alza has proven to be a great MPV for the passengers as the 2nd row has plenty of legroom space and also the seats can be inclined for extra comfort. The passenger at the back seat may feel a bit cramped but still, it is fairly comfortable for people who are around 5'6" or 5'7" max. People who are taller than 5'7" will feel less comfortable sitting at the 3rd row due to reduced legroom and headroom. For passengers sitting at the 2nd row, there is no issue as it's very comfortable, which makes this Alza a great vehicle for long distance journeys to outstation.

Having sat inside this new Alza several times now, I can vouch for the quality and comfort of this vehicle, and in my view it is the best value MPV in the market today which explains why the waiting list is quite long. At below RM70k I don't think you can find another MPV which offers this much.

Not about powerful cars, just whether there is sufficient power for it to do the job it is suppose to do.

A Formula One car 1.6 litre turbo V6 can be considered underpowered if it doesn't generate close to 1000hp as it will be slower than competitors on the racetrack.

The Alza may be considered underpowered if
a. It has a full load of 7 adults pushing kerb weight up to 1600kg
b. going up a steep incline approaching 20° as in certain Genting stretches
because in such cases, the engine has to rev beyond 4200 rpm where max 138Nm torque is generated.

Other conditions say 5 adults on flat roads is fine..

And we have people who probably don't even own this vehicle coming into various threads to increase their post counts.

Too poor but want to aim for bigger engine?

Its not a problem for enthisiasts to come into car clubs to ask questions or seek clarifications, it becomes an issue when you start talking crap to increase your post counts like in all other threads as well.

Anyway, will let Kiefer deal with your postings here.
Have a nice day.
