2/3 = 90% ???..

There are other factors at play as well

Another factor is financial standing. matriculation is for those who do not have the financial means

These 2 main factors explains why matriculation have more Malay Vs other race

There are other factors at play as well like financial standing that explains why certain race gets more

I'm not denying that favouritism could be part of the equation. Just viewing this whole situation objectively

You need Question mark on every statement to be able to answer it?

No wonder lah you think Utem is low quality university.

Its wrong tho. There are not that Malay in poverty anymore. Most of them are quite affordable and good. Nowdays its just luxury for the Malay and they are misusing it and gov is allowing it.

So the quota should go for the Iban,Kadazan,Dusun, Orang Asli etc. Not the Malay.
*
Unless there's a nationwide survey showing majority of Malay are doing well off, whereby they have more disposable income then yea , I'll be suspicious on why 90% of Malay still gets matriculation

Ya true, the ones that really needs are those ethnic groups in SnS.

It is not objective if the study application doesn't even ask about parent income, mana ada?

And poverty is applicable to all races leh. How can you say poverty brings up the percentage to 90%?

Malaysia really won't maju if meritocracy is not applied. Right now instead of meritocracy we have mediocrity.

I don't deny that there's a possibility of biased selection but let's look at the whole situation more objectively. Surely there are other factors at play like the ones I mentioned

There is poor Malay but no till the level of 90% intake anymore. 90% intake in matrik is huge similar level like 20/30/50 years ago?

All those are now in luxury just leeching off the government funds.
