Agreed. Me serious and hardcore fan too *brofist

Gonna make a blog to conclude my Mikupa trip 2011.

*brofist*
Heh, ur hardcoreness cant be matched by anyone yet. I mean, going to Japan solely to watch Mikupa last year? That is so crazy, and yet awesome enough ha3.

I can only enjoice using NND Livestream. Its better than nothing laugh.gif

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jan 11 2012, 03:39 PM)
so why have you not bought the mikupa bd yet?
*
U mean Mikunopolis? Money a lil bit tight currently.

Besides I dont have any BD Player. And I still waiting for European reseller to stock up the DVD. Not in Malaysia currently, and definitely I dont want my shipment to be held at the depot, waiting for that blasted VAT payment, just like what happened to my Project Diva strap. Its such a PITA sweat.gif

Hello, How Are You by Hoehoe feat. Hatsune Miku. But this is no ordinary song, its an acoustic rendition by...The 39's! Yes, the very same band that performed in 39's Giving Day Concert and Mikunopolis. Truly wonderful, one of the highlights IMHO from their album, Acomiku feat Vocaloids.

Yep, 39's do publish albums, albeit only covers for now. But hey, its really good!

Whoa fellow fans, lets not feed the troll(s), and back to topic:

So who is going for next 39givingday 2012 + Mikupa 2012?

Both event on 8 & 9 March 2012, I now still checking for air tickets

AA not yet open up the flight schedule on 7 March and 10 March(The best time go and back from my POV)

Last time I went, 70% of my spending ==> original games~~ this time must control~
*
The lottery already started? Dont wanna be like you last time, when the price for the ticket become tenfold laugh.gif

There is no livestream announcement yet right?

I'm sorry that i have a strong distaste to self proclaimed crazy/hardcore fans but wouldn't support/sacrifice for the things/artist they are supposedly so crazy/hardcore of.

of course, that is entirely another matter and i have left said opinions over tfm/my twitter. since you have to drag it into here anyway, i felt obliged to share and thus this post was typed out.
*
And you are saying this because? Well, I'm not gonna lie, I do download songs for free from the internet, pirate, piracy whatsoever...

But I do try to support in anyway I can. I do buy her songs from KarenT, albeit not that much, but its really a step from me. I do buy the merchandises. And I do bought the ticket for concert livestreaming, jumping thru all the hoop and problems in order to purchase one from Nico Nico Douga (the japanese site).

But hey, its seems like I'm the "hypocrite fan that have so many excuses" right? laugh.gif

Have a nice day. Cheers! smile.gif

like for example, one can buy the BD for the sake of supporting, even if one doesn't have means to play said BD.
and as a matter of fact, BD roms for PC, BD player, or even a PS3 isn't that expensive these days. the PS3 is the most expensive among the choices, however you can easily have 6/12 months interest free installment to acquire one.

but yea, feel free to entertain me with more excuses smile.gif

you have no idea how rich student these days are. and more importantly, spending on something else over something they supposedly claim to be crazy/hardcore at.

and thats why i highlight that if you have the will, you will have the way. student can also part time, right? i am VERY SURE *MOST* part time jobs, even dish washing at a local restaurant, can earn enough to support a blu ray disc, and a ps3 (or, cheaper solution of a bd player/rom). and if you really needed to get a hd monitor (you could actually just use a hdmi -> dvi converter, which i am sure most people these days are long over analog), monitors that can support 1080 hdmi are as cheap as 400-500 ish. maybe another month of washing dishes.

and who's to say, he cannot use his newly upgraded ps3/monitor etc etc for other bd? or other purposes? and he can further continue to support more for the things he is supposedly crazy/hardcore at, no?

my point has always been this: hypocrites. (not pointing to anyone in particular, however, check out zero_kbom's sig)
*
LOL. Pinpointing my sig? Since when this become personal?

Well I'm affilated with Nokia Rangers program with Nokia Malaysia. So all Nokia stuff there, headsets and phones there were free. And my lappie were given by my college, so again, its free. Your point being?

The only stuff I bought are my Dell Venue Pro (230 euro), and my Playbook (200 euro). and that oldish NDS.

Yes, it might be seen as I'm stupidly rich. But being a student overseas, I have to balance between spending and saving. And trust me, the cost of living in Dublin, Ireland just keep rising.

I can't afford to buy stuff I don't need. Just like how unfeasible for me to go buy a friggin blu ray player. Heck, my current house didn't even have a TV.

And working? Please, being a medical student, I barely have time to myself (Going out home at 8am, back at 10pm everyday)

Don't get me wrong. I really understands what you try to say. If you like something, you have to strive hard to support it. And I'm supporting it as much as I could. Buying out albums from producers I loved thru KarenT, importing official merchandises, heck burning out almost rm 200 just to watch one concert livestream. Yes, 200 for a video stream. But thats just how I'm giving out my part.

My point being, you don't know me. And I don't even know you (Altho we met once during Daicon 09 at MMU Cyberjaya IINM, but hey, I'm just a lowly nobody, so of course you dunno me). I'm happy for you managed to support your Horo craze etc etc. And I'm also well aware of me being such lowly cheapo "that unable to buy a bd"

But really, stop judging. Jeez, its getting pointless now to argue.

@quazacolt Whatever floats your boats bro. I'm outta that discussion.

@air
Are you planning to go again this year?
Thats one major hurdle for me to go, as I don't have anyone I know currently residing in Japan.

Izzit expensive enough to use proxy service? I really need to factor many things, from the airline ticket price, to the tickets, to the accomodation, food etc. Heh, it seems like its the usual livestreaming again for me laugh.gif

Thanks in advance

Now currently checking on other airlines for cheap deals, will decide whether to go or not one week before the general sales start.

I got one fren who will help me to book it on lottery or general sales, you can worry less for air tickets price, whats really your concern is, either japanese address/proxy purchase.

Accommodation and food will be the least worries.

If worst, NND~ most likely I will need your guide on the registration for VIP account.

P.S: care to exchange FB?
*
Sorry late. Finals burnt me out.
Check your PM for my FB.

Well, reading through the internet shows that 39's Giving day ticket is sold out everywhere. Be prepared to shell out loads of money if you want to go for aftermarket tickets (Might be around 30k Yen and upwards)

Mikupa ticket also selling out at a fast rate, but not as fast as 39's ones. The accommodation bundle also still available for Mikupa, unlike 39's ones.

NND? Yah, sure. I'll post the link for premium acc registration guide. I used Webmoney before, but if you have Cc that is verified to be used in Japan, I supposed it can be use. Cc in NND is quite hit or miss.

I'm still betting for the English Niconico for announcement to stream the concert. Their pricing is much more cheaper for Premium account, and it will be easier in terms of payment (They used Paypal, so its frickin easy laugh.gif)

Now. Here's a new song by 40mP. Its a song to celebrate the birth of his child. So expect some cuteness overload laugh.gif

Guys, I'd recommend to stream the concert via Niconico.com instead of the Japanese NND. Much cheaper ticket. And much easier payment scheme.

And don't forget that the Snow Miku 2012 Nendo will be sold starting today (1700 Japan time) at GSC website. Don't miss it!
/Keeping my battle station in check for the inevitable battle. Must get this. MUST.

And for those who forgets why you should buy one, lemme remind you why:

2012 version is actually the best one I've seen so far as what the previous versions do. (but hey , must be only my views...lol)
When i streamed from NND , it was kinda laggy , but i tested out Nico2 was kinda good (using Streamyx 1mbps package)
and like zero stated , much easier payment scheme.
*
Great mind thinks alike. IMHO, the 2012 Snow Miku is the best! laugh.gif

QUOTE(Langiler @ Feb 12 2012, 05:09 PM)
herm, tested the NND and Nico2 too, seem streamyx connection to Nico2 is much better than NND,
and about net ticket.. kinda blur here,
*
Net ticket purchase using Niconico.com (Copied from my message with Air, easier laugh.gif)

QUOTE
I really, really recommend buying the stream from Niconico.com instead of the japanese NND. Much easier (English and Paypal), and much cheaper tickets. The price is 40USD for both, plus a very, very cheap fee of 25cent for premium account.

Here's the links

Mikupa+ Miku Daikanshasai bundle ticket https://secure.live.niconico.com/product/miku_day2012

Premium account:
https://secure.niconico.com/payment/pre_reg...?sec=editstream

But make sure that you registered for Niconico account 1st. Or just use your existing NND account if you have one. Especially if your NND acc is premium, as its interchangeable with Niconico.com.

And make sure to abuse the timeshift feature! laugh.gif

Now2, currently I'm looping this masterpiece. Lovely slow song, with some enchanting guitar playing in the background, it surely a feast for those who likes ballad.
