Rukawa can do everything that others can do.
3 points, dunk, assist, etc.

I say Rukawa is on the same level as Sendoh. Halfway through the game, Rukawa can already match to him in terms of guarding and escaping the guard.

Still, Sendoh might be slightly better than Rukawa.
Maki is old

i'm still saying maki is the best...sendoh is close behind him though....rukawa is better then both of at them at scoring but in terms of assisting well, he falls behind...

Since when did sendoh won maki?

my personal favourite will be maki. i remember during shohoku match with kainan, they used 4 ppl to guard maki under the basket area. somemore damn fake, when they were left behind, maki alone chased the points they lost, foul in ----> free throw.....

other fella worth mentioning is sawakita, fukatsu and kawata... sawakita's teardrop lay up even sakuragi and rukawa together can't block. sawakita is so leet, he stunned rukawa and make rukawa realized thus far, his forte (being a selfish son of a bit ch) is also his weakness. if i remember correctly, rukawa started assisting for real during shohoku's match against sannoh... the true moment of zen is when sakuragi shot the two point near the free throw area... god i swear sakuragi must've feel ecstatic...

sawakita is the best high school player in japan and he's not from kanagawa...that's why i never mention him....

i know your answer was maki...besides who cares about sawakita...the center of sannoh keng also.....kawata is it his name?he can rebound,defence and score from mid and close range...perfect center...

in love of basketball. we always tend to remember this series. I would like to see how better they create real time movie about slam dunk.

Maki is aggressive. indeed he deserved MVP. even doh rukawa and sendoh's pace were impressive, they were slightly lack experience compared to maki.

I hope they can do a remake of the anime and finish is this time

well, i really hope they could continue the anime from where it left off. story of sakuragi and his therapy, story of rukawa with the new japan teen team and story of new shohoku.... takehiko inoue's slam dunk is really classic... one of the top anime in my opinion. besides, its hilarious too, and also touching at the same time
