To be honest. I have no other flavour to recommend other than the vanillas and chocolates lineup. Even then, I don’t really fancy mudslide as the choc fudge is overpowering. I was looking for the strawberry, but until today they never bring in to Malaysia.

Normally I just use vanilla beans flavour and add on my own extra textures such as oreos or other biscuits. laugh.gif

Jaya Grocer brought in two new Tillamook flavours a couple of months ago, German Chocolate Cake and Dark Chocolate Cookies & Cream.

I tried the German Chocolate Cake, it was okay but I felt that the coconut overpowered the chocolate ice cream. The chocolate flavour was too light.

Can't find them anymore though.

Jaya Grocer is too conservative in bringing in new flavours, there's so many more! All they have are the normal Vanilla, Chocolate and Mint Chocolate chip every time.

I always see many different flavours in my local JG (mentioned above). Saw marionberry pie, white chocolate raspberry, wafflecone swirl and coffee almond fudge

I can find marionberry pie, white chocolate raspberry and coffee almond fudge at Village Grocer, but haven't seen wafflecone swirl before.

Tried the marionberry before, found it a bit too sweet for my liking. Now I feel like going to buy a tub of Coffee almond fudge to try tongue.gif

For some strange reason the Jaya Grocer and Village Grocer near my area both don't stock Oregon Strawberry at all! I have to go to a faraway branch to find it.

Is tillamook really that good? The price seems to be lower than other brand right?

And is there any smaller size? I see all around around 1.4 to 1.6L.

I felt strange since blanket84 also mention he never saw the strawberry flavour, and I was pretty sure I've seen it a few times. Went to check today and I was right biggrin.gif

There's smaller size but I never saw it sold here before, or I haven't stumbled upon it

Not exactly cheap but cheaper than other premium ice cream like Haagen Dazs and Kapiti. Can try and see if you like it, recommend to start with the chocolate or vanilla flavours.

Thanks, might start with choco.

I saw a 473ml ice cream from ice cream and cookie co, and it cost more than 1.4L Tillamook, that's why I thought it's cheap. Is this ice cream and cookie co brand good?

It’s either they really never bring it here in my usual JG, or it is always sold out fast sweat.gif

But yeah. I’ve never seen strawberry, only the white chocolate raspberry that looks similar.

wahai warga /k... come recommend the best ice cream you've bought from supermarkets

usually I only go for good ol Haagen Dazs or Ben and Jerry's

that day decided to try this from Tillamook

user posted image

damm its as good if not better than both, and its also cheaper.

only RM29.90 for 1.42L tub. Haagen Dazs more expensive and much smaller in size
all the flavours

I'd say Tillamook is good quality at a reasonable price. Other imported ice creams are too expensive e.g. some 400~500ml tubs are selling for more than RM30.

And taste-wise most of the flavours are good. I recommend Tillamook Vanilla Bean if you haven't tried it before, it uses real vanilla extract and beans rather than the vanillin flavouring most other brands use. You can taste and smell the difference.
