Only certain batches affected. There's an IMEI checker for each country. Hopefully this means Sony Malaysia will update the price soon.

It's good that Sony is still alive in Android flagship, more competition so that other makers don't get too comfortable like apple 🍎🍏 monopoly iOS until no more innovation.

in fact most of phone innovation is capped now.. the cost of transfer from 1 brand to another brand is very low now.. except apple to android.. but android to android, nowadays quite easy to adapt

indeed.. no doubt for that.. maybe im using their camera system.. i appreciate the fast AF & eyes AF.. somehow the pictures from Xperia really could be my B cam to combine with my camera system output.. iphone, samsung too much of HDR processing.. i can see China manufacturers started to go back to natural and a bit overexposed photos.. but still there is some gaps.. too much of processing through HDR cause the photos looks dull for me.. but the processing of low light images in smartphone no doubt is impressive..

dont know.. 30FPS of Xperia on all lenses are good.. and Xperia 1 Mk 7 improved ultra wide sensor which i am quite buy to this idea.. as telephotos i have camera system to cover the focal length.. smartphone could help me on ultra wide/wide angle will do.. xperia 1 main sensor indeed is a good sensor.. so far i havent touch on 1 Mk6 to try out ultra wide. i guess it will have some improvements but not on par like main sensor.. anyhow, overall it is not major improvement over Mk 6, so dont expect good sales on Mk7.. furthermore the dead phone issue cause another decline on the sales i believe..

Downgrade in phone resolution doesnt really affect me much.. in another perspective i appreciate it as i have really good battery life on Mk 6..

Maybe few years ago iPhones the best the one to beat, but nowadays I don't think so anymore. Android camera & 4K60 is at least few steps ahead of iPhones

video stabilisation i think iPhone ahead.. HDR processing too.. but camera photo itself, android win ahead.. majority are good quality.. the rest are different in color sceince depend on which company they partnered with.. leica, hasseblad, etc..

yes.. that is one of the reason to use it.. i always transfer RAW images from camera into phone so that i can edit in phone lightroom and process remaining stuffs.. very space consuming.. microSD helped on this

it is very simple nowadays.. left only 1 series and 10 series (mid range).. both series ady went until 7th gen.

latest flagship in msia is 1 VII (latest snapdragon as per other flagship).. 6499 with 1 XM6 headset as free gift.. so consider worth if you're planning to get a flagship phone + headset..
