i have already booked my car since 30th Oct 07 and two days ago just got a call from my SA that the car is available...but i rejected it because when i book, already stated that i want 08 car and not 07....

sigh... so still have to wait... kekeke...

moving on, i plan to change my HU also, but problem is the integrated HU...i heard can use back the old panel and need to buy from Honda...
anyone can confirm done this before?

city's interest rate is 2.18% if you take a look at the website..
if u don't want the cheap int rate promotion, you can opt for RM850 cash rebate...

this is the trick played by the SA and I am very unhappy about it as well...

you see... when we order the car...it should be confirmed the discounts that we are going to get...if Honda cannot supply the car to us, it is not our fault to get our car at 08...
so this is very weird... christmas discount is RM1.2k... so means those who get their car around christmas entitled to this discounts...

which means...those who book their cars around September or August will get this discounts since usually the waiting period now is 2 months...
so for honda, do you expect us to know that in future two months, you will have RM1.2k discounts? so customer can look into crystal ball and book in advance? sound stupid and ridiculous...

if you book your car at the promotion period, i believe your discounts should be locked down already...so by all means, insist on that discounts that you are entitled for... this is a farking lousy tactic used by all honda SA currently..which pisses me off.... me also another victim...

if you guys want, you can write a letter to Honda Malaysia CEO and complain kao kao...about this lousy sales tactic...how can you have a promotion at december...and lets say customer book at 15th December and get their car later around February...then you cancel the discounts because the car arrive late? hell no!

So if you guys are not satisfied, please feel free to write to the address below to the CEO of Honda MAlaysia... all it takes is a little bit of your time and 30cents stamp + envelope cost. Make sure our customer's voice are heard! Doesn't make sense if ppl book at December for RM1.2k discounts, and later get the car at Februrary, then you lower the discounts to RM850....

reason given is because there are no standard discounts given...some SA might deduct their own commission and increase a little bit discounts to customer...
so they can't let customer black and white..or else..everyone compare and then complain later...even more big problem...

by any chance, if you need a good SA from penang...let me know...i have a contact SA who is quite steady and good in service... and probably he can try to match the highest discount given...

i think it's RM850 and not RM800....

anyone who has already get his/her car this year which is 08 make?

i really hope i can get the car this month also because i booked last Oct.... and my SA wanted to push me the car on the last week of Dec which i refused...because other ppl in front of my dowan the car and then only push to me....

anyway.... your car should be the one arriving on 7th Jan... tentatively i heard another round of delivery is on 14th...so i really hope i'll get my car that time

the new promotion works like this....

if you decide to go for 2.18%, then you are not entitled to RM850 discounts...
if you take RM850 discounts from Honda Malaysia, then you cannot get the 2.18% discounts...

so for my case, when i book around end of Oct that time, the rate was 2.28%.... so since like that, i decide to take the cash rebate instead of 2.18% from Honda malaysia...

so you can demand from your SA...whether you want to choose the low interest rate of 2.18% or you want cash rebate of RM850....
it's still your call and don't let him tell you no discount...

1st batch - 7th Jan, 2nd batch - 14th JAn and the 3rd batch will be 21/22 Jan...

i booked mine on 30th Oct, but still havent' get my car...you're lucky u can get urs so early...did you pay any undertable money ar?

have to wait for after-market replacement panel or any dash installation kit available...

haha...do you hve the receipt from your SA? if yes, then dun worry, cause you already have receipt...usually credit card company won't be so blur wan la...they will surely charge you wan...
if after 2 weeks no sttement, try calling the customer service to check it out...

i should be receiving my car either on thursday or this friday...because last monday, my car already arrived...now waiting for the proper procedure/process done like register car no etc, then i should get my car...

for honda city vtec, i believe there is 3 batches of delivery this month which is 7th, 14th and 21st of January... next delivery could be early Feb and after that there is a 2 weeks break for CNY shutdown...

Feb delivery and shutdown information loosely gathered from other forums... Jan delivery date is confirmed because my SA told me wan last time...

enjoyed my first few hours driving my city vtec... very nice indeed coming from wira 1.5A from my previous ride... real one big hell of a difference....

so far no problem with the car...just that i notice the A pillar plastic is loosen...so i'll get it done at my 1k service interval....
