QUOTE(Kagekiyo @ Jun 26 2008, 12:10 AM) Urgh, just got into a car accident infront of the sunway-puchong toll and had my city's front bumper detached and semi hanging on the left side all thanks to a bloody motorcyclist who was on the far right side then suddenly decided to swerve to the far left. I was 1 inch from killing him. I swear. So i swerved to the left to narrowly avoid the moron and ended up banging a proton car coming from the left side. And whats the 'best part'? The motorcyclist ran away as usual and we (the car driver) is always left as the victim. wtf man. People, be alert all the time when driving. Tonight was just a screwed up one for me and could've been worse if i had knocked the motorcyclist and kill him. Sheesh. Back to the car workshop again to do some knocking and repairs. |

QUOTE(fooken @ Jul 1 2008, 06:49 PM) among my club members, theres like less than 5 so far who had changed their gearbox. so i would say the percentage of it is very very small. ah...at least its cover more than 300% the earlier batch usually will have the start clutch jerking issue. u'll feel the whole car vibrating as u accelerate from standstill. the vibration only occurs at the specific speed, after tat wont notice any at all. all the owners i know that has changed the gearbox still has warranty so they let SC replace FOC. I've also known a few Honda Fit[Jazz] owner, theirs dont have warranty already so they sourced from chopshop for mere RM4k. plus labour everything is less than RM6k. QUOTE(ccc8910 @ Jul 1 2008, 07:50 PM) thx for the advice man... mileage doesn't matter to me, important is the good maintenance applied to the car, plus how's the condition(engine/gearbox/suspension/interior/exterior etc)shit..suddenly my fren told me that his fren city also for sale..lady owner honda city idsi 35K mileage year 2004 RM50K nett...but the problem is silver which i dun like... silver nice arr? looks like family car? since i m just 25,not going to get married so fast Added on July 1, 2008, 7:54 pmOption 1: Honda City Idsi 1.5 (A) RM50K nego Year 2003 Mileage 68K Met red Just drive her daughter to school and back Option 2: Honda City Idsi 1.5 (A) RM50K nett Year 2004 Mileage 35K Silver Seldom drive coz alwiz oversea i personally like met blue or black...but since i haf no choices, i would prefer the red than silver...but the problem is option 1 is lower mileage + year 04 .... so scratching my head here...any1 can shed me some light? |

QUOTE(neato4u @ Jul 27 2008, 07:18 PM) recalibration should not take long i guess, they just plug in a laptop and configure via software (i wish i have the application and wires so i can just tune it myself wah lau so fun) Anyway mine took 3 hours or so because did major service - 80k The customer service at ipoh was good, staffs were very nice to me but i can't stand the fact that i can't see my car during service ok, will ask for the calibration next time bring back to the SC, to check some weird sound at engine compartment too |
