Yo, apisgogo... rclxms.gif
U r right to make that decision... rclxms.gif
RM150 is nothing compared to the lebih kurang RM1,000 if some 3cm pebble comes flying into ur windscreen... sad.gif
It may not break on the spot, but u would see the crack-line rising like the stock exchange when temperatures change (i.e.: sudden rain on a very very sunny day, which Malaysia is famous for)... tongue.gif

So, think about it, not worth saving RM150 for something so highly likely... ohmy.gif

But should you think of jimat RM150.00, if, touch wood, something DOES happen to ur windscreen, u can claim from the Car Insurance itself, but lose NCB lor... cry.gif  sweat.gif

Just my pendapat harga dua sen... thumbup.gif
*
my previous wira cost RM900 to replace the windscreen. damn..

just extra RM150, no really big amount. u know lah malaysian roads, suddenly u got big lorry carry rocks cut in front of u... ha..

ala, lose NCB sikit sajaa... dont worry to much lah smile.gif

im thinking to make my city smoother when going on rough surface and more comfortable ride. Stock absorber not really that smooth for me.

in fact you do not need to press twice.
- insert your key
- turn to to 'ON'
- press the remote control 'Big button' once. (no siren sound nor signal blinks)
- turn your key to start the car

I am not aware of this until told by another city user. doh.gif

thanks 4 the tips...

Very good.

My friend used to complain bad FC for this March08 City VTEC getting 9km/L~11km/L.

Now it is 13km/L avg. Engine ran in already I guess. I suppose it should be better when reached 10k milleage.

1st month my fuel consumption is kinda bad...

after my 1st service its gettin better... now clock almost 13k...

if straight smooth roads, tyre pressure is right, no strong wind,

1.8-1.9rpm can reach 95km/h with vtec..

By the way, i'm using a 2007 VTEC

like i posted, if the road is very smooth (e.g new roads), no hills, straight, no harsh wind, can achieve... have to control the right foot carefully smile.gif

better leave it at 'd' because CVT can enhance our engine braking while cruising downhill...

but is it not advisable to change mode from 'd' to 's' while moving? how to climb the hill then? or is okay in slow?

smile.gif

Added on June 13, 2008, 9:56 amp/s: yesterday and today managed to get 16km/l smile.gif

the toyota salesman sounded like flaming the CVT technology whereby the future hybrid model of camry will use CVT to give maximum fuel efficiency smile.gif

CVT is proven in efficient fuel consumption, but its not build for speed..

Vios is a good car... last time test drove the new vios... very comfy, nice... but at the end of the day chose city:)

listen to ur heart...

QUOTE(susakthy @ Jun 23 2008, 08:58 AM)
Dear Honda City-zens...

Okay test drive both, Vios and Honda Vtech (they dun hv ISDI to test drive but was told that both r similar, you'll only know the diff when u accelarate, is this true!) Has anyone drove both and can tell me difference?)

My Verdict, Vios has the stability lah... the ummphhh is better and with our Malaysia road, u dun feel the gegaran that much, so the suspension is good!!! So, credit for that but then ah, the exterior somewhat not so nice to my eyes lah!

Whereas, Honda us very light (because of that u'll feel more gegaran lah!), the interior is better and the exterior is definitely better.

So, i fell for the looks and went for Honda.
I've placed the booking fee but am in dilemma.  I dunno if i should go for ISDI or VTEC, am torn between these two.... (ewww... like choosing boyfriend!!!)

I know that Vtec has the 'ummmph' factor, but am a lady driver, dun intend to speed.... but the 7gear mode is like F1 lah, can perasan a bit!

Nway, i'm quite concern about the pick up.  I'll be staying in hilly area, will my baby ISDI need to struggle its way up? I note that the ISDI's valve is only 8, is that the reason the fuel consumption low?

Thanks in advance for your feedback...
*
both vtec and idsi is good.. but they hav few difference:

1) vtec interior is dark, idsi is beige color
2) vtec has 7 speed steermatic control
3) vtec stock sport rim is nicer than idsi (well to me lah smile.gif )
4) vtec has nice exhaust tips.

so, go for vtec if you need the extra bhp. if FC is your main concern, definitely idsi.

Added on June 23, 2008, 12:21 pmdamn, my front bonnet got this tiny stone chips... the paint pealed off and some minor dent...

how to get it fix? can anyone point me to good workshop? and estimate cost.

thanks

p/s: my vtec clock 17.5km/l this morning... smile.gif
