Immigration reject online passport photo

So can I still go to immigration UTC and take the photo there since they are so fussy about the photo?

If they don't like my photo they should take the photo for me

plz advise

Actually most if the time they reject your photo..it's because you dont follow their exact measurement. Take with iphone, clear lighting, and then use photoshop to crop

during the upload part there is a circle to ajust, i didnt touch that so I was supposed to ajust it again?

But the shop follow measurement or not ? White background and is your clothing contrast ke ?

I did mine at home,.ok je. No need to adjust as it will auto adjust for you

Its the system that sucks, i went to photo studio that provide service to renew for me. And they took quite a long time to retake the photo and edit+adjust and upload several times until success.

Then it could be the measurement. See if it match or not. Some Photostudio damn noob one

Then that studio sucks.

I took one time with my dslr with one point lighting.

Edit takes less than 10 minutes

Then adjust based on the measurements from system..jalan.

I bring my photo to UTC and let them see for themselves

I want to go to UTC and let them immigration ppl take photo for me since they are so bloody fussy about the specs

Whats the error message? My colleagues one was hair covering forehead, studio photo also. So just put on gel pushed his hair up lepas. Got his appointment to proceed

Then had to retake photo again at counter hahah But at least done

how to measure 10mm take ruler and measure on the screen?

if I can just go to utc immigration counter to retake the photo then im not going to bother to go and re-take at photo studio or take my own

Actually next time, just save money and DIY.

Why system reject because it is programmed to read the specification. Sure got plus/minus error correction but if lari alot, then kena reject.

ooh dun worry, u might not need to retake ur photo at utc again.
i just went to utc on saturday coz they rejected my photo online too
but when i reached there, hang over my old passport, 5 minutes later they emailed me saying application lulus d
then 30 minutes later my new passport is ready

Dont know whats the procedure now. Back when my colleague did his, online appointments were backed up months. Fastest was submit online application

If in KV, go straight to Putrajaya and renew la. Only 5 hours to wait.

My parents renewed theirs under 3 hours at Putrajaya. They even took the pictures on the spot.

Can. I was there 3 weeks ago. Counters practically zero queues. Just the collection need to wait 3pm. To kill time, just lepak at Alamanda.

I helped my auntie did her.

Since it is well known photo is an issue, I requested her to take the photo at Proper Passport photo shop. But, the photo also failed to meet requirements. Lols.

At the end, need to go UTC to retake photo .

My nephew brought family back from Aus to renew passports.
They allowed the 2 children under 12 to walk in with their parents to renew.
Parents have to apply on line.

Simple je, mount a DSLR with flash (pointing upwards)

By setting ur flash up, ur ceiling will become a large softbox to diffuse light.

Then make sure ur dslr height on tripod is midway between your forehead and chin.

Use a white background but dont go stand so near behind
Always keep a short distance or else will cast shadow.

Take the shot, then use photoshop to align with the given measurement.

Any white background will do? As long the wall is white also can? Or you have those professional wallpaper (just like in studio) behind you?

Any white will do or get a A2/A1 size paper and stick at the back.

I use a white pvc roll background, can get from lazada

yeah, i mean at that time i didnt know that these days all renewal had to be done online and when i came in the guy helped me to apply online. but after that the pic didn't go through and i was asked to go to the counter to take picture

They allowed walk ins in Kota Kinabalu.

I renewed 2 times previously online, all failed on the photos even though I go take photo at the photo printing shop.

Just go and retake the photo at the place where you collect your passport.

Just go to the immigration office that you choose to pick up. I also scammed by kedai gambar. Wasted money. Go to there they take new photo, same day got the passport.

The last time i do renewal passport I didn't bother to go to any kedai gambar.

Just go to the immigration, there are some photo stall inside or outside.
Take there. Guarantee can go through.

Still rmb the time I renew, I read many people complain about the photo requirement, so to save the hassle of doing it myself. I go to one of the local photo shop which provide the service of helping you to take photo + submit the application. End up the staff there also adjust here and there for a long time before upload successfully.

Just keep trying. I took a couple of times to upload as well. At the end, my fingerprint got problem.
