The rest of so-called "Mforce" dealerships only do regular oil changes.. for more serious troubleshooting need to bring to Mforce shop either in Jawi or Segambut if in Klang valley.
Even spoke with head of mechanic in Segambut service center, they said its 99 models + already, and they lost track on what new coming.. so buy China bike brought in by Mforce you need to prepare for DIY.

Yeah that's the thing about M Force bikes. Certainly have to DIY. While that in itself is not a deal breaker, as bikes are easy to work on, but parts definitely have to be sourced yourself, and more serious electronic gremlins will still need to be sorted out with M Force. How on earth they can keep that many models stocked with parts is a certain impossibility. Proton has 3 Chinese models and they have problems already. Like I said, the bikes itself is mighty temping with the price points they are coming in at, and you can see massive improvements every time a new model is launched.QJ/CF Moto is certainly on the right track. Won't take them long to catch up and they are certainly not shy to blanket every segment with bikes. Good for consumers.

Apparenly, GS Cycle now has the OBD tool to deal with error codes and sensor-related issues.

QUOTE(lowpro @ Jan 23 2024, 06:37 PM) It's a pity the SRK 600 RC is so heavy...wonder if anyone here has bought one or even test ridden one yet... Just by the specs alone, 51NM is quite weak...and you need to spin the engine up to 10k to get it. And given the dry weight of 229kg, it's damn bloody heavy. Not sure if MForce messed up and quoted wet weight as dry weight. If dry is 229, wet weight with 90% fuel will be 245kg. That's heavier than the new 1300GS. Even the CBR650R is not well know for big midrange torque typical of medium displacement 4cyc ..but still has 64nm. This is why middle weight bikes are going with twins. The 3k more expensive but much lighter 800NK (by 40kg) has 30nm more torque way lower in the RPM range. Don't need an expert to tell you which is the better buy.

Actually, the 4 cylinders platform on the SRK600 is a proven platform that has been on sale for quite some time, it's known to be one of the most reliable machines by QJMotor, the only disadvantage being very heavy.
800NK is really just a replica of the KTM 790... when KTM isn't even known for reliability, you can kinda expect what are you getting yourself into when a Chinese maker copied their motor, although CFMOTO should be the leading Chinese manufacturer now.

That's really heavy! I think if we're in the market for a full fairing bike, the new Daytona 660 (this is surely coming but you might need to pay for the branding) or the upcoming GSX 8R (not sure in Malaysia though) might be better options.

Yup, maybe the next generation of this bike will be lighter. They are gonna have domestic competition soon in the form of the CFMoto 4 cyl 500cc and the 3 cyl 675cc bikes and they really need to up their game if they don't want to lose out. On top of that, there are many other full fairing 650-660 bikes out there for a share for the pie as well.

looking at torque numbers in the Nm unit, for example 51Nm, it tells me this engine is more like a ~500cc mill
then, look at the peak torque rpm, will give an idea if it's commuter friendly or not
then, the hp, and peak rpm to see how wide the powerband is, do i need to drop gear everytime, or just pulas and go
Data - rpm at 6th gear at 110kph QJ 80hp @ 11,000rpm, 51Nm @ 10,500rpm - ??? Modenas 51hp @ 15,500rpm, 22.9Nm @ 14,500rpm - 10300 rpm (~77% torque on standby) Honda 93.8hp @ 12,000rpm, 64Nm @ 8,500rpm - 5300 rpm (~88% torque on standby) Suzuki 73hp @ 8,500rpm, 64Nm @ 6,800rpm - 5100 rpm (~87% torque on standby) Modenas 650 67hp @ 8,000rpm, 64Nm @ 6,700rpm - 5150 rpm (~86% torque on standby)
