auxilliary police (unless i misunderstood what was read years ago):
- vetted and trained by (federal) police
- equipped and salaried by hiring organisation
- have full authority to exercise police power at where the employer told them to work at/in

Nowadays, CCTV has definition high enough to read details at proper distance. If he was trained to show your card to CCTV at the right distance it will most likely be legible.

I already texted my management office regarding this matter, but they never replied to my text. I want to go straight to their office to clarify this matter because I am scared it will happen again, but I am already balik kampung lol.

I should have clarified with my building management first yesterday on the procedure to retrieve my misplaced package. Haish lesson learned.
Perhaps next time I will straight away go to the management building office before dealing with security guard.

no. just be nice and show your IC only enough, no need to snap photo. if he still insists, just say nicely u willing to sign attendance or form or whatever as long dont have to snap photo. usually guard just allow u go in after u show ID la.

Once long enough friendly and recognize you usually they just bagi you the pass card and let you in without request this and that anymore
