Yeap. Normally large showrooms will be able to secure more units.

I booked mine at Botanic Auto Mall, I thought it’s a rather large kind of dealer lol

My booking is with this dealership too. Booked a Red V Spec on HM the first day official booking open on June 9th for my wife. Was told by my SA last week that we’re 11th in the queue for this spec and color.

Hopefully can get our car before CNY 2023.
*
I think should be no problem. I’ve been monitoring the HRV Facebook group and most of the deliveries that took place over the past 2 weeks are all in Johor state. Seems like Johor dealerships are getting the bulk of the allocation from Pegoh for now.

Yes finally someone who booked from the same dealer as me 🤣 I booked on 21st June which is just 1 day after you did.

I think you will get Silver quite fast because from what I see, silver is not so famous color… I booked Grey which is quite sought after 😅

My dealer is quite big sales in klang 3S , but not sure why they are not getting stocks a lot this time (only 2-4 stocks arrived per month mostly V and 1 RS) , haiz that’s y he can’t confirm Whether I can get before Dec2022 this time
*
From what I noticed in FB group most of the deliveries that took place over the past 2 weeks are all in southern region, especially Johor. I think HQ allocated most of the stock to those area for now, perhaps Klang Valley will follow suit hopefully by August or Sept.

What he told me Botanic branch 1nce per month… list will out every 1st week of the month.. that’s y he say gg my car even not popular color but no stock not sure can get this year or not.. I edi decide by fate if not receiving the car by sept I’m cancelling it and say good bye.
*
Doesn’t make sense la… Botanic dealer is 3S, how come get so little allocation?

You can keep a lookout on other SA… many of them advertising ready stock but need to pay SST la..

This one I also can’t understand… why they can’t take those SST ready stock and allocate to those without SST in queue…?

That’s one of the reason make me decide to cancel I just told my SA already his sound was so different after I said to cancel lol.. I told him why those people booked after 20/6 received July with same color same specs in klang valley but your branch got no stocks…so gona giv up. Thanks
*
Hmm.. since you said the allocation list comes out during 1st week of each month, maybe you wait until end of this week then ask your SA again and see how is the allocation for August lol

QUOTE(hus2020 @ Aug 2 2022, 07:28 PM)
Fellow Hybrid owners, can anyone clarify these
1) When we start the car, it's super silent means it's only electric motor running, car in eV mode. Do we have cold start or technically its safe to drive straight away?
2) The digital meter shows between power and charge. Does charge mean that the battery is being charged? And power means its discharging?
3) How does the paddle shift control regen? When press in D mode it shows 3 levels of arrow.

If anyone could clarify pls.
*
I’m not an owner (yet, still waiting for allocation), but from my understanding:

1) in the previous HRV Hybrid (i-DCD), you can force the engine to start by going to sport mode. Not sure about i-MMD (e:HEV), but you can give it a try

2) basically Power = battery is providing power to the electric motor and Charge = battery is charging

3) again I haven’t tested this but based on what I read… at the highest level when you release the gas pedal you’ll feel the most engine braking, to charge the battery.

Driving is great. Super quiet most of the time like an eV.
I have driven almost 120km but mostly 1 to 2 passengers. Haven't driven with full capacity. Mostly done City driving and stop and go traffic. ACC LSF is real fun, but the braking can be a little intense sometimes.

One very underrated feature is VGR steering. It's phenomenal and super useful in most driving conditions.

Honda sensing is top notch.

How to clean rust on my new HRV disk brakes. It's worst on the rear ones.
*
The easiest way is to just drive the car. When you apply brakes, the brake pads will scrub off the rust and clear them. Just remember not to leave the rust on the discs for too long

No updates from SA yet. Still waiting
*
I think usually when SA informs you that your car is allocated, you pay the remaining d/p and then all that’s left is to wait for the car to be transported from Pegoh to your dealer.

Once the car arrives at the dealer your SA will terus bring it for registration and other stuff

For low loan amount and still get 2.43%, considered very good dy.

Mine is 90k loan, 7 years, 2.48%

U are not encourage to use cruise control if want to get better fc or having fc challenge. It will try put effort to maintain the speed doesn't matter what the situation. When heading a slight climb, the cruise control will try drop gear etc, this make fc worse vs controls smooth by manual.
*
This. Same behavior in my Jazz Hybrid. Without cruise control I can get at least 700km on a tank, with cruise control it just consumes more fuel to stay at speed.

FC on the Hybrid RS model is insane. This is my last 3 days driving after fueling on Saturday (refer attachment).

This has been mostly driving in city with mixed - straight drive and stop and go traffic.

With these numbers, 800km per full tank is easily achievable.

One thing I have changed in my driving habit is to cut off ACC when the leading car departures at faster speed. I accelerate gradually to allow the car to pick up speed smoothly and not too harsh.

I wonder driving continuously on the highway like Plus would get me better or lower FC.
*
Getting 22.4km/L from mostly driving in the city with mixed traffic, that is very very impressive indeed. This further eliminates any doubt that I once had regarding the e:HEV system.
