Got news from ATE that prices "might" drop in a couple of weeks time for the Penryn. If the E8400 dropped to a good price, i might drop the idea of Q9450 and head towards the duallies...

ppl say that Q9450 is using multiplier by 8 ghosh same as E6400 ....... 400 X 8 get 3.2Ghz again haiz
 450 X 8 only get 3.6Ghz and 500 X 8 only can reach 4Ghz .... donno my mobo can reach 500 anot lol  |

Reviews out there are showing the E8400 to be going really good. So, i guess the only thing to do right now, is ready your money - and wait until its released. Lets hope the 45nm is really going good. I change a whole rig waiting for the 45nm. LOL...
