The stain is from what?

The contractors use tiles cleaner to clean. It is actually diluted HCl (hydrochloride acid) which can easily be bought in hardware store. I think mostly because to clean cement used in grouting and also used to remove stain from welding (dissolved iron stain).

Need to exercise extra careful when applying the cleaner...we don't want it to ruin further the tile...had experience with that... doh.gif

What kind of tiles? My floor tile even applied 3 times also still okay. The only precaution is you need the place well ventilated to avoid suffocation. It will make stainless steel turns black though but it can be polished to shine easily.

Did you look at the fridge placement requirement like how much space need to be at rear, right and left. Modern fridge has heater to sidewall and also in water tank at the back to evaporate water. Did you switch off the fridge for long leave? Maybe water overflow from container at the back? Probably just water stain but hard to remove?

I think better get contractor solve the other issue first and probably they can do the cleaning too. No point to try to clean if the root cause is not solved yet.

First thought use acid. If you have car wax or polish, you can try that too.
