The stain is from what?
The contractors use tiles cleaner to clean. It is actually diluted HCl (hydrochloride acid) which can easily be bought in hardware store. I think mostly because to clean cement used in grouting and also used to remove stain from welding (dissolved iron stain).

QUOTE(Izwan898 @ May 16 2022, 08:43 AM) Need to exercise extra careful when applying the cleaner...we don't want it to ruin further the tile...had experience with that... What kind of tiles? My floor tile even applied 3 times also still okay. The only precaution is you need the place well ventilated to avoid suffocation. It will make stainless steel turns black though but it can be polished to shine easily.

QUOTE(ballistix89 @ May 16 2022, 09:34 AM) No idea. Water coming from behind kitchen cabinet Did you look at the fridge placement requirement like how much space need to be at rear, right and left. Modern fridge has heater to sidewall and also in water tank at the back to evaporate water. Did you switch off the fridge for long leave? Maybe water overflow from container at the back? Probably just water stain but hard to remove?

QUOTE(ballistix89 @ May 16 2022, 10:14 AM) Ya..suspect from piping behind fridge Behind fridge wall is outside already..not bathroom Anyway this topic derail already So I can get rid of the stain using tiles cleaner? I think better get contractor solve the other issue first and probably they can do the cleaning too. No point to try to clean if the root cause is not solved yet.
