I dont want to bring in race in this topic but from the general comments I received, Indians are notorious for having bad renting habits

Please help ur community by becoming better tenants, or else people will shun renting to your community

I rented my unit to a family for 12 years and they can afford to buy new house now.

They damaged my fixtures, and with rm480 tnb bill unpaid (ok i have deposit) and keep delaying the date of moving out. Promising that his cousin will continue renting but disappeared as well

Now both husband n wife shut off their hp and have not returned the keys

There is a difference between “wear & tear” vs damage

U use phone wear and tear means got scuff and scratches. Damage is you drop the phone and screen pecah

I have bad experience with landlord as well.

Paid rent every month, but landlord default condo maintenance fee. End up my parking card is blocked and one time tnb cut off power supply.

I threatened landlord that i will use my rent to pay the maintenance fees and tnb and wont pay to the landlord.

My landlord paid up everything the next week.

I dont need to pay tnb bills under my contract. Tnb bills is still under landlord name.

Of course they can cut if my landlord didnt pay the bills.
