Hi All!
My Xbox One won’t turn on anymore. Power brick remains orange. No white light on the power button despite many presses.

I’ve visited OneTJ, Wisma Saberkas, Vivacity and Emporium(I-gamer) but none of them repair Xbox Ones.

Does anyone here know where else in Kuching, Sarawak I can get it fixed?

Any help/replies are greatly appreciated!

Usually this is a sign of power brick getting weak, if you can find somewhere you can buy the power brick & test it out on the spot that would save you some trouble.

yeah, most likely it's power brick issue, see if anyone of your friends got X1 also then borrow it from them to test it out

another 2 places in Kch you can try out is One Jaya, and Wisma Satok <-- (one of the oldest game shop in Kch)

i would try opening the power brick to see if the capacitors need replacing. heard of xb1 power bricks having their capacitors bulging even though we are years away from the capacitor plague era.

saves you money if you do it yourself and you get to keep the original hardware with improved components. i don't trust game shops as they might use cheap components or steal the parts and return a low quality replacement to you.
if you want the best, you can replace them with polymer capacitors. you can get them from element14.

Just a quick update!

Brought my Xbox One to Ah Tee at Wisma Satok and I really hoped it was the power brick issue.

Ah Tee(Brilliant guy btw)tested it out for me and found out that the power brick was working fine. It is the console itself which has a problem. He contacted his friend in KL but unfortunately, his friend doesn’t fix Xbox Ones anymore.

Sadly, this seems like the end of the road for my Xbox One.
