If you are wealthy enough to buy an EV right now, I'm sure you have already figured out where and how to charge your EVs.

I certainly do not think taxpayers money should be used on implementation more charging stations to accomodate these select few.

super slow or super fast charging make your battery die faster, battery replacement isn't cheap
wall charger installation isn't cheap, the car itself also isn't cheap
maintenance also not cheap

yes, i know
and that precisely is the problem

we don't have that here and with no tesla and to rely on 3rd party...it's really f'ked up

and back to the same question i previously asked before...do u trust PEKEMA?
is PEKEMA gonna build supercharger all around MY?...high chance that answer is NO laugh.gif
their job is only to sell car and bag the profit
*
most pekema showroom that sells ev have installed dc chargers at their own costs, and allow free charging........ 50-60kw is not uncommon on their charging... few in KV, few in penang and one in kuantan..

too spread out, too less charging station
the reason tesla can be so popular in countries that has their dealership are how frequent you can get in touch with their supercharger

BMW dealership today also got charger at the showroom...but i only saw 2 in sabah's rclxub.gif
and there are no 3rd party charger anywhere in sabah at all

people who are willing to pay so much for EV in malaysia are very special or unusual thinking. either the car is company car like TnB or he's some odd climate change, new technology geek person. If not the normal person would just buy a Merc/beemer

for me charging is only part of the issue with EV
another issue right now in USA is u buy an EV but the car technically isn't yours
your car is in control by the manufacturer rclxub.gif

In Malaysia, the old road tax put my yearly tax to rm4500. Keep 10 years, pay rm4500x7 years...plus car price.

Who's gonna buy 2nd hand? Road tax, battery,....really Volvo for life..lol..

can elaborate more on this? sorry im uninformed. i was thinking on the lines of software updates where the manufacturer can tweak as he likes, and theres nothing you can do in the sense of not accepting software updates will render the car unusable in the name of "rejecting safety updates"

Raya time literally fuck3d.

Imagine fossil fuel section is packed at rnr. But one car need max 10 mins to fill up tank

Ev how? One car need 1 hour to recharge. Imagine only one power station. 1 hour x 7 car is 7 hours wait time for the last car
