Hi, my Myvi 2018 tyres are around 3 years+ and is about time to change, size 185/55R15. Can someone recommend me which are the best tyres to change?

I have some pricing below, but not sure about the quality/performance?
Michelin XM2+ - RM 270/tyre
Michelin PS3 - RM 290/tyre
Goodyear Triplemax - RM 230/tyre
Continental CC6 - RM 240/tyre

Anyone can give me some insights on this or any recommendations? Also, is it ok if Michelin from Thailand?

If you want good grip and drive aggresively - Toyo TR1 is a good bet.
Great grip, decent noise, decent comfort, but downside is treadwear is a tad high.

If you want an excellent jack-of-all-trades all rounder tyre (sporty, comfort, quiet) and if you can afford it - Go with Michelin PS3

If you just roll around town, go to work and back, or just use it as a car for going to the market - Save your money and get Dunlop J6.
Grip is decent, quiet, comfortable

All I can say is please avoid the Conti CC6. This tyre is rubbish in the wet and I've personally had bad experience almost skidding with this tyre before.
Especially for the money its a mystery to me why this tyre is still relevant

Personally i would recommend Falken ZE310 for best overall comfort tires

https://www.stamfordtyres.com.my/ziex-ze310r-ecorun/

The only performance UHP tyre in your list is Michelin PS3, if your into performance or hard cornering.

The rest is normal touring tires which i think Falken ZE310 is top of the list now and it is one of the top recommended tires in tyre review website also.

Another tire to look into Hankook VP 3

Ps3 by far and don't touch CC6, but those prices are nuts, where you got them?

I got from multiple shops, asked 2 shop regarding the Michelin PS3 (1 quote RM290 and another quote RM295), and its from Thailand. Does it matter if its imported from Thai?
Do you have better pricing shops for recommendation?

Most Michelin for MY market are from Thailand, no issues.

See below ps3 only rm245/pc.

Check shopee or lazada for pricing.
PS3 great wet grip.
Dry grip also pretty good - In case of lajaks in the middle of the road I think you should be able to avoid hitting them. There is a diff between ciplak tyre and UHPs braking distance.

Based on my experience:

XM2+: very good and little too expensive imo
PS3: The best in terms of wet and dry grips; and worth the price imo. However, little bit too noisy to my taste (not too noisy just abit more than others) and quite bad rolling resistance (should be ok for you coz Myvi)
Triplemax: very balanced and very good price. Go for it if you want bang for your buck tyre good tyres.
CC6: Too focused on comfort and low noisy. Terrible at all other aspects. Unless your only priority is comfort and silence, avoid it.

Bluearth ES32: Best tyre for the money imo. As good as XM2+ in terms of wet and dry grip but cheaper and with better comfort and noise.

Hope this helps.

I'm using Yoko BluEarth ES32 on my family's Exora, been about a year since it was fitted.

Regards to comfort and noise - Mich XM2+, Dunlop J6, Conti CC6 definitely has the upperhand.
But Yoko ES32 has way better grip levels in dry and wet compared to any of the above.

Overall Yoko ES32 is a good all-rounder tyre. Just depends on what your use case is.

I'm still of the opinion that Mich XM2+ is a better buy if you can find a good deal for it (e.g. 4.4 or 5.5 sales)
Else, Yoko ES32 won't go wrong either smile.gif

edit: again I need to note, try your best to avoid Conti CC6. If noise and comfort is your top priority and you're on a budget, Dunlop J6 is way better than CC6.

I just change to Yokohama Advan Fleva 195/55/15 for RM240/piece with Advani S850 rim for my G3.

Quite big performance improvement compared to the original Goodyear Assurance Triplemax.

WTA is PS3 very much a superior tyre compared to XM2+?
Would you say just go ahead and spend the extra rm80 and get the PS3 for a 1.3l Bezza???

Need to consider sport rim width also
Not all sport rim width is suite for wider tires.

https://kereta.info/wheel-size-vs-tyre-size...dan-rim-sesuai/

Logic -
Tyre = Kasut/shoe
Sport rim = Kaki/feet

If your shoe is bigger than your feet too much how do you think if you run high speed or went into cornering? If you understand this logic you will know why wider/bigger tires need to match with suitable sport rim size.

Myvi stock 15 inch rim is 6jj ET50, according to your link is recommended 185-195 for width, max 205.
