So based on 200/120 rumours (bearing in mind we have never spent over £150m in one summer) we'd somehow need to pull off....
£200m: Backup GK: £5m Centre back: £40m Defensive midfield: £55m Central midfield: £40m Striker: £50m. Winger: £10m Right-back: £n/a. £120m Backup GK: £0 Centre back: £20m Defensive midfield: £40m Central midfield: £20m Striker: £30m. Winger: £10m Right-back: £n/a. |

Ralf Rangnick 'is NOT happy with Darren Fletcher shouting to his players from Man United's bench during games - and asked him to stop', weeks after the technical director's f-word row with a fan
Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick has reportedly ‘taken issue’ with the behaviour of technical director Darren Fletcher behind the scenes at Manchester United. Rangnick and Fletcher have been working together since the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November and the German manager isn’t happy with Fletcher’s antics, according to The Telegraph. Rangnick is said to have told Fletcher to stop barking orders from the touchline, believing it undermines his authority. He is also surprised at Fletcher occasionally opting to participate in training when they have been a player short. Fletcher also asked an angry United fan 'who the f*** are you' as the pair clashed during the 1-1 Premier League draw against Leicester City earlier this month. Jamie Caplan, a 25-year-old supporter in the South Stand, stood up and raged at the United bench when Kelechi Iheanacho headed in the opener for Leicester. Fletcher took offence and exchanged verbals with the fan, who was then accompanied out of the stands by stewards. |

I believe the Goalkeeping department will be untouched. We currently have De Gea, Henderson and Heaton. Even if Henderson goes, Heaton is able to come in. Third choice GK we can give opportunities to academy goalies.£200m: Backup GK: £5m Centre back: £40m Defensive midfield: £55m Central midfield: £40m Striker: £50m. Defence : I think we will see some changes, maybe a new CB and fullback. First name that springs to mind if De Ligt, who played for Ten Hag at Ajax before moving on. Midfield : Biggest recruitment area. We are already missing a CDM. Pogba, Mata and Matic leaving. We will be recruiting a whole new midfield plus backups this summer. Attack : I think this isn't as important as the midfield and defence. We still have Amad and Pellestri who we have never seen plus academy players like Hannibal knocking on the door. Maybe a new established number 9. But I think we should keep CR7 for another season and put the captaincy on him. It's the non-playing influence that is important. No more Good Vibes FC. We need standards that the players should be kept accountable to. CR7 will set those standards. |

QUOTE The players have completely lost their confidence and belief," said Neville. "They don't want to play football for Manchester United at this moment in time. That's not they don't want to play football for the club - they don't want to play football. They want the season to finish. poor thing. that explains why captain is not playing any football at all |

QUOTE Ralf Rangnick 'upset' Man Utd top brass with controversial comments after Liverpool loss. In the wake of Jurgen Klopp's men running riot against their fierce rivals, Rangnick admitted that United were six years behind their Merseyside counterparts. "It is embarrassing, it is disappointing, maybe even humiliating," the German added. "We have to accept they are six years ahead of us now. When Jurgen Klopp came they changed at the club and lifted not just the team but the club and city to a new level. That is what needs to happen with us in the next transfer windows." Football Director John Murtough is thought to have differing opinions to Rangnick on how long it will take United to be restored to their former glories and will be hopeful Ten Hag can prove the 'six years behind' claim incorrect. |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Apr 22 2022, 12:21 PM) Too early for me to pass judgement on Richard Arnold but I am not expecting much different from him compared to his former boss. He may have been instructed to be more friendly and more aware of media image to the fans.Richard Arnold is cut from the same cloth as Woodward, answers to the same boss which is the Glazers and has been part of Woodward's management team all these years. I think they even shar the same investment banking and university background. QUOTE(yhtan @ Apr 22 2022, 12:21 PM) This is really bad, ETH appointment should deter such thing happen, if he wanna shout, go become assistant coach. Main problem areas left are the 'United DNA' staff levels. Darren Fletcher. Mike Phelan. The people who nobody really can answer what they are even doing at the club.TBH i think Fletcher kepala besar, thought using his ex-Man Utd player able to stamp authority on player. Fletcher especially. Can take part in training like a player because he chooses to. Shouting instructions during matches. But if the team loses, it's the manager's fault. And as technical director, he gets to pick the next manager. All the fun, zero accountability. Plus no experience as technical director or any staffing role. People like Fletcher will be the biggest risk to ETH/Rangnick achieving success at United. Fans should be making more noise to throw these unqualified staff out. I'll put my money, Anthony will be the 1st signing.
Our defensive line are shite, but I believe the new boss will be content and wait for another transfer window. I have a firm believe that our defenders will be greatly improve with 1 top class CDM. So 1 top class CDM, and another young promising CM. ETH like to use #9 type of striker, hopefully Ronaldo will stay. |
