Thiago passing completion 96% out of 103 pass. Meanwhile our bruno...

Aya no need to shit on him larh, before we signed him also its known that his ball retention is poor, still he has really good chance creation and assists even in this off season of his. One thing you cant fault him is that he is almost always available to play and he always tries. De Jong does have great ball retention, idk why i just dont see that happening.

Dude did you not see Bruno running around? I dont care if he loses the ball, the guy is putting in the effort, may more than Rashford. The team needs hard workers as well.

Rr has the worst win rate among United managers of all time in epl era.

And now cabut lari to Austria. What a scam. He denied giving dossier to eth. I think in reality, its just go work as usual, players dont give a damn. Board don't give him a damn once they decide new manager. Hiring eth doesn't include his input also from rumour. But like this glazer avoid fans protest for a season d. Success!

I didn't even bother watch 2nd half, see result saja. What a sad state of the club.

Not his squad, not allowed to make any changes in transfer windows, pretty much all the garbage staff Ole hired, what you expect?

Matt Judge has resigned from his position as Manchester United’s head of corporate development, The Athletic can reveal.

It is believed that Judge is currently working out a notice period prior to an expected departure later this year. He is not expected to play an active role in the summer transfer window.

Judge is thought to have been considering his position in recent weeks amid a series of structural changes at Old Trafford, including the April departure of executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

Sources say his departure was amicable between both parties.

Judge was responsible for negotiating transfers and contracts for Manchester United.

He had been involved in United’s transfer business since the summer of 2014.

Judge had previously been described by former manager Louis van Gaal as Woodward’s “right hand” and has long been one of the most influential figures at the Premier League club.

His exit comes after The Athletic broke the news that chief scout Jim Lawlor and head of global scouting Marcel Bout were also exiting Old Trafford.

United are currently undergoing a backroom reshuffle.

John Murtough now has full control of the football operations and has driven some of the changes as he seeks to help turn the club’s fortunes around.

Key to those changes will be the appointment of Erik ten Hag, who was appointed as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s permanent successor earlier this month.

The club still plan for interim manager Ralf Rangnick to move into a consultancy role.

Rangnick was announced as Austria’s next national team manager at a press conference on Friday.

At least there is some hope for the future with a massive clear out in the players as well as management department.

Quite impossible, can't see any reason why a regular player for CL team wanna leave for a non CL Team.

Realistically, we can only look for non CL Team's players or CL Team's non regular player.

Money, prestige, City managed to get stars when they werent a CL team either, we are a huge name.

Lets be real, if Rashford is included in that trade, that is poor value for us despite his form being shit at the moment.

For me, doesn't really on the same situation.
City early situation is more similar to current Newcastle.
They are on the rising curve, full with hope. Positive.

While we are on the falling curve, and need to climb back.
The atmosphere is totally different.
*
Doesnt matter rising or not, some of their players thought there is only one team in manchester, like Robinho the rapist.

Hope erik can sign a few unknowns instead of going for big names, which we surely need to overpay bcos we dont have CL next season

20mil-30mil for 3-4 unknowns or lesser names n turn them world class. Football manager style
*
Sangare, Malacia, Timber, Anthony, Broja (owned by Chelsea), DCL (if Everton get relegated)

He is.. unfortunately he dont have good decision making career wise imo..
If he left for bigger club 2 or 3 years back, he would've been a massive star with medals to match..

Staying loyal at Spurs cannot help jump his career to whole another level..
*
He is one of the stars at Spurs, thats a pretty good level, especially for an asian footballer.

Pep at bayern then yea. City one is not that integral. But comparing pep and ten hag is a little bit out there aint it. But i get it, right now ten hag isnt being brought in to make the current team work, because too many managers have failed that already. So yea, i guess he does have to make a list sooner or later.
*
Well at City, they hired 2 ex Barca and Pep's buddies at the higher up roles, and City already had a pretty good squad prior to pep coming, and yet he only managed to get 4th, above us on goal difference. He was allowed to make so many signings, idk how many 50mil defenders City bought.

Manchester United’s strategic rebuild stepped up further following the announcement of Erik ten Hag as the club’s new manager for next season and they are preparing for his arrival by asking former West Ham United and Southampton player care specialist Hugo Scheckter to perform a full audit on the quality of the club’s pastoral offering to the first-team environment.

The health check will review over 120 aspects of United’s processes, using a four-level rating system, in order to inform United where they are succeeding and failing in this area.

The audit is primarily targeted at the first-team environment but will also touch on the transition from the academy into the first team. Scheckter will conduct the audit via interviews with employees across the club, which may include players and he was present at the training ground last week.

This highlights the club’s determination to review existing practices and improve the structures and quality of the club’s first-team environment before Ten Hag’s summer arrival. Player care involves basic essentials, such as crucial support and assistance in helping with relocation, and onboarding when a new player signs, particularly from abroad, as well as advising on how to improve player buy-in and the culture of a squad.

Scheckter’s audit is also likely to offer feedback on United’s processes on safeguarding, wellbeing, team travel and how the club manages the commercial requirements expected of their players.

It is also understood that United’s current head of player care Anne Wylie has chosen to retire after 36 years at the club. During that time, she undertook various roles including an 11-year stint as assistant club secretary. She has run player care since 2017. She will be the latest exit, following the departures of transfer negotiator Matt Judge, as well as leading scouts Marcel Bout and Jim Lawlor, while the club’s communications lead Charlie Brooks announced he would leave the club earlier this year.

Thats what proper elite club do.. they sign players, then if the player cant hack it, they move them out..
No buyer? Sit on the bench or play in the reserve team.. 1 season in the reserves then the player auto request wanna move out..

Bad signings is part of football.. every club did it and will continue to do it..
The difference is United desperately keep forcing the bad signings to be good..

Since lots of United fans wanna be like Liv, think about this.. Karius still in Liv squad and will get nowhere near the 1st eleven..
Thats how u deal with bad signings, accept your loss and dont play them anymore..
*
Well Karius has been on loan, and tbh he isnt a good example as he was purchased only for 5mil.

In the next few seasons, Liverpool will be under pressure to spend to replace their current batch of stars, we will see how good of a job they will do.

City make loads of signings, and if it doesnt work out, they are authorized to make more signings until they find the right fit, whereas we spend big but we dont spend more to replace them if it doesnt work out, and we have a weird thing with offering players contracts just to protect the value of the asset but that asset is not even being used (like Phil Jones, Mata etc). Either way, this time there are loads of changes, so i hope for the best.

Really hope Ronaldo stays (I probably jinxed it by buying the kits with his name LOL), and we get one striker that is willing to take turns with him, no idea who is suited for that tbh. Nkunku can play as ST as well, but he will for sure want to start somewhere if not up top.

QUOTE(statikinetic @ May 3 2022, 07:56 AM)
1) We played with a strong spine in the team that could actually hold and pass the ball. Draw a line down the center of that team. Back to front.

Varane/Lindelof - Matic at CDM - Mata at 10 - Ronaldo

Now those are the veterans in the team at the wrong side of 30. But still have more to offer than some of our players in their prime.
2) No English players in the starting 11.

A lot has been said about the dressing room split and the English core.
Does this performance speak volumes?

Ronaldo has been an inspiration. True Captain. Especially after the death of his son to still be able to perform like that. Where would we be without him?
Too bad the FIFA mafia are Messi fans to be able to recognize him.
3) I think Ronaldo will stay another season.

Not sure if anyone noticed during the clap around but some fans are reporting Ronaldo saying "1 more year" to the cam. If Ronaldo goes, the only scenario I can think of is PSG assuming Mbappe leaves and they try to build Neymar - Messi - CR7.
*
Ronaldo didnt even take a single game off after his dad died, he went back and then showed up for Portugal's game in the Euros if i am not mistaken. Well apparently Ronaldo said he isnt finished, so hopefully thats him not finished at United, the guy is a freak of nature, even if he goes elsewhere i am so happy to have witness him in the United red again. Hopefully Salah and Son have a short dry spell and Ronaldo score 2 hat tricks in our remaining games to win the golden boot! Viva Ronaldo!

I recall Sir Alex did give him some time off as he was young and the death of his father was a huge blow to him. But that's decades ago so my memory may have been off.
But young Ronaldo already showed more mental resilience than the current crop fo English players we have.

With Elanga coming to the fore as a young player willing to run and follow instructions, questions have to be asked about the expensive young players we bought. Diallo and Pellestri.
I guess it's recruitment again.

And the lack of English players starting which showed the team playing well really is an indictment into the worst Manchester United manegerial tenure in the past 40 years at least. Ole.
United DNA. English first. Not just failing on the pitch but damaged the structure of the entire club.
*
Pellestri is pretty highly rated from his spell with the Uruguay NT but Diallo case is worrysome if he cant even get games in Scotland.

Removing CR7 can free up 385k per week..
If wanna reset the wage structure get rid of everyone that is on big salary contracts and set a ceiling..

As long as there is one high earner in the team, the others will want the same after performing good in one season..
Their agents will surely come down and demands it.. look at Bruno, one good season, new contract talks started in the next one..

Bayern strict on this, they dont let anyone break the ceiling.. Alaba demands it, off you go..
*
He is our top scorer, i am sure his jerseys are the hottest selling ones. Bruno was underpaid anyway, his current wage isnt ridiculous. Bayern only really have to show up for UCL games and even that they failed this season.

If someone wants CR7 level wages, better have CR7 level of performances and mentality.

Jerseys don't cover any part of salary 😅 United should still be selling 2.5 to 3 million per annum and licensing was already given to Adi for a yesrly fee.

There should be an additional 10 to 15% from the sales, but it still doesn't cover squat.

CRs salary is indeed very high and that's undeniable. He needs to be a world bester, top 3 player to command those type of wages and imo no player in united deserves those type of wages at the moment.
*
I didn't say it did, but by having him at the club, more likely to attract better sponsorship deals. He has a bigger online following than the club (and the whole PL before he came if i am not mistaken) and we gained loads of social media following from his arrival also. Plus if he had City's players supporting him, he would defo be PL top scorer. Either way, cant just criticize his wages, when donkeys like Henderson etc are getting 100k and not playing any games.

2. Brentford 3 points
3. Brighton
4. Palace

Wolves last 4 games:
1. Brighton 1 point
