My son tried 5g last month using the free-addon from Digi on his gt2 pro (and me on my iphone 13 pro max). it's ok but personally I don't think it's worth the RM10 extra per line that Digi is asking for it.

I'm on digi postpaid 60 and he's on a family 20 supp line.

If your area support 5G with very good signal, you should give him YES5G. Unlimited calls and data currently for RM30. RM25 if you add a debit/credit card for auto debit every month.

No 5g in my area yet. But 5g is available where I work.

The last time I tried Yes in the 2010s, their coverage in Penang island was not as good as the other telcos. Not sure if they’ve improved now.

That's why you need 5G... 4G still pretty bad... 5G is the same for everyone since sharing DNB.

In that case, I'll wait till 5G via DNB is more widely available - then maybe Yes can be a telco to consider.

I have been trying the 5g by Digi. So far it pretty much OK I guess. Only one place I managed to get 1gbps. Avg normally in the 200 to 300+ mbps range

How's the user experience of GT2 pro? Is it still worth to get it now? Am looking to switchover from OnePlus 8 after suffered the screen line issue. Currently considering this and pixel 7.
My priority: good camera, volte and vowifi is a must, good charging speed/battery life.
In dilemma as saw mixed feedback on camera performance of gt2 pro, on the other hand pixel 7 is behind in battery/ charging area . Thanks in advance for advice

See who is the seller. Region lock can settle. But why not impressive? I only know the camera is normal saja. U did a review on this model yet? I prefer the 150W model cause battery bigger but no global rom for this model.
Or the oppo Reno 10 pro plus also nice. CN set about 2500.

ICYMI, oneplus and realme latest china models since this year got region lock in which 4g/5g call/data function will be disabled after showing up warning like this

the affected user must go to official service center in china to obtain unlock code to unlock the 4g/5g function. and not every seller will entertain case like this

so be careful when buying oneplus/realme phone meant only for china market from shopee / lzd/FB reseller

maybe can find reputable one. subang find fastech lim, or in johor then errick lim (both on FB)


dont buy from mommar (shopee), because this cannot help unlock if sim region lock
