So, does the gaming keyboard give you an edge? I see the point of a good mouse...but not keyboard. As long as I have a decent keyboard (mine's MS Comfort Curve 2000), it's good enough...

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 19 2008, 10:04 PM) shows u dont try / play enough keyboards. I had two types of Newtouch before. One is rounded at the edges, the other is not. I preferred the one non-rounded one. I'm not too fond of having bling bling keyboards like Logitech's G-15 or whatever that seem to attract 12 year olds more than tehy do adults. Razer's both keyboards look good but I'm not too sure that they would perform better than my normal cheap keyboards. Mouse affect my work, play, recreation, etc. Keyboards? I don't think it does much...as long as it is comfortable and has that tactile feel.i remember trying a samsung kb at a cafe...damn unresponsive... even my clanmates then also all complained... also try gaming with those stupid ergonomic keyboards... and my old logitech newtouch...which is a damn good keyboard...after awhile of jumping like mad everywhere in UT etc...the spacebar started dying... and even with the newtouch...there were 2 diffrent ones 1 has more tactile feel...1 more springy...the pros all can feel the difference... and feel of cos is important...like they say...u must be one with ur equipment. if something even so small is out of place, u will keep on thinking of that stupid thing until ur performance is affected. and in true malaysian style, they will of cos blame it on their equipment whenever lose badly. tho not all gaming keyboards are good...like the everglide t-1000...!@#!%!@#$!@#!@ thats why i dont even bother with watever 'gaming' keyboards that companies like A4tech or watever putout. stick with the tried and tested, like razer |

No tactile for feedback, much like iPhone...yes but it's good for graphical editors and multimedia usage

QUOTE(atomica @ Jan 21 2008, 08:38 PM) finally gonna get a "proper" keyboard. i play a lot of games but mostly single-player ones so don't need a super sensitive one. Logitech Newtouch - RM25-35 depending on your bargaining skills. been surveying a bit and can't decide between three keyboards: rezer tarantula (rm325), microsoft reclusa (rm205) and logitech g15 (anyone knows the price?) any suggestions? thanks. |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « You might as well search the web. I'm not sure if anyone here has use Lachesis long enough with any (not to mention all) of the mat that you listed. Just get the one that you feel will glide the smoothest. |

So far, no actual review yet. But the Mako do seem to have several really interesting features. Maybe it will be worth the RM1400? Oh, you also can get 2 Aego M for this...or an Aego M with a high end sound card.

But we have no idea whether Mako is indeed a Ferrari yet...or just another Toyota. Let's hope it's a Lamborghini instead
