QUOTE(Fyrekat @ Dec 19 2007, 04:51 PM) That's something I do after I've installed the software right? Or do I just download the new drivers and firmware and forget about what's on the CD? You can forget what's in the CD. Just "Plug & Play" with the mouse. Then download the drivers - it has a control panel. You have to install the drivers first before the firmware. Thanks for your advice! QUOTE(Everdying @ Dec 19 2007, 04:49 PM) the bottom part is about same width as CH / DB etc...which is why i said only slight getting used to. Sigh...there you go misunderstanding me again.only the buttons are obviously wider part. why dont ppl read properly nowadays? you also went and highlight but never read properly? i never said the wideness will put deathadder fans away did i? cos most deathadder users like height so can palm the mouse better. this is low and flat, so obviously theres no arch to palm. and of cos, our own blacktrix is really trying to adjust to it since he likes deathadder also I never said you said that Boomslang's width will put the Deathadder fans away. The thing about Deathadder is, yes, it has high profile, so you can grab its body and your palm will rest nicely on its high profile. Another way for you to rest your palm nicely on the back of a low mouse like the Boomslang is that the mouse is wide enough that you can spread your whole hand on it. So there's no need for high profile. Get it Everdying? The question I wanted to ask was: Is the Boomslang wide enough so that our palm can spread nicely on it without it being high profile. You answered, "the bottom part is about same width as CH / DB", and thus, I think Boomslang may need lots of getting used to for Deathadder fans. Added on December 19, 2007, 5:06 pm QUOTE(blacktrix @ Dec 19 2007, 08:38 AM) To me, it's a superb mouse that needs to get used to first. Like a Porsche, you'll need to get used to it before you can tame it. So, how's the Porshe coming along? Or are you still very much in love with your BMW?This post has been edited by clayclws: Dec 19 2007, 05:06 PM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Dec 21 2007, 09:28 AM) i've adapted about 80% to the boomslang now. DA has the highest profile of Razer's current product. That's why we use DA, not Logitech. I used lots of Logitech mice before, but none could replace my Microsoft IntelliExplorer's great grip...till DA came...i still miss a few shots cos i overdrag or underdrag the mouse cos of the extra weight...but its getting there. and really, i would like to see how big your hands are to use DA... cos its all still preference...i know ppl with smaller hands than me who still use logitech... and logitech mouses are bigger than DA. |

Correct me if I'm mistaken...the rubber, is not the only layer there is. Even if you scrapped off the rubber layer, there's still the plastic over, isn't it?

QUOTE(Everdying @ Dec 29 2007, 02:06 AM) Been there on Thursday, there were like...5 or 6 Boomslang CE there. Guess some people didn't know that the whole box is in black with aluminium side. The price was RM329.This post has been edited by clayclws: Dec 29 2007, 05:42 AM |

Higher DPI is about moving your hand very little but the cursor moves a lot on the screen. Good for moving around in FPS, but you have to lower down the DPI when you want to snipe...that's when the change-your-dpi-on-the-fly is useful. Cursor speed/sensitivity is another issue entirely.

QUOTE(choyster @ Jan 3 2008, 11:34 PM) Or you can use X-Fi with normal headphones. It emulates exactly where the sound comes from. Front left, centre or back right. I had X-Fi, and it was awesome...even with cheap Phillips HP250 headphone. This post has been edited by clayclws: Jan 4 2008, 12:25 AM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 5 2008, 10:01 PM) k thats it. Go get an optimus...feck the razer barracuda or lycosa. im gonna get the saitek cyborg keyboard soon as its out here. some nice tempting specs...including these. Multi-colour backlighting with Tru Vu illumination through keys (mix shades from Red through Amber to Green) and adjustable brightness. (oohh look razer, no blue...but thank you for making boomslang green) Hard wearing, metal-plated key caps in key gaming areas. (note to razer - rubber coated is not good) |

QUOTE(zx7177 @ Jan 11 2008, 09:07 PM) but i love the z10 cause it has the touch panel thing . quite nice to play with actually . would love toget one if its below 300 which i greatly doubt it is 1. Logitech Z10 cost RM650-700 depending on the stores and your bargaining skills.btw , i heard something about the mako actually being a THX product , just that its marketed as a razer . real ah ? 2. Do you even know what is THX? |

For all that you need to know why Razer Mako cost a bomb...hopefully it works magically as it says so on paper...

QUOTE(v i n c @ Jan 13 2008, 07:15 PM) Anyone using the exact rest? Me too...I felt buying the exactmat to be an utter waste of money. I'm using my Deathadder on nothing, and glides smoother and I feel more satisfied with its rhythm of movement.I feel very uncomfortable using it. Its like my hand is hanging on the air. |
