Hmm, I guess, to each his own. I like palming - using whole palm to control the mouse - mainly as I use the mouse mostly for work when precision and stability is required. Thumbing around...I only do when playing games, mostly FPS. For that, I'll have to agree with Everdying that low profile mice are the best. And for that reason alone, I'm going to get a Boomslang CE.

Yes...rubber coating. Feels nice for some, feels terrible for some. DA and Lachesis have 'em.

QUOTE(billytong @ Dec 16 2007, 11:12 AM) Just got a Razer Krait. Not so much a gamer, but would like to use it to click fast enough to earn money in Forex. Great that you like it First time use Razer, so a bit stingy and get the cheapest one. So far I feel so much diff from normal mouse. It is a good first impression. |

QUOTE(Clavicus @ Dec 16 2007, 04:21 PM) Any Barracuda HP-1 users here? Would appreciate some feedback about the pair of headphones. Already got my 5.1 but i still prefer headphones for frag sessions. From what i gather few pages back, the headphones seem to be very fragile and stuff. Care to elaborate? Hey Clavicus, why don't you get a better headphone from pure Audiophile companies? |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Dec 18 2007, 09:44 PM) if porsche made a mouse, it would be called the boomslang. 7.5mm lower. How about width? Seems wider on pics, but is it really so? If it is so, it may not really put Deathadder fans away...but for those who dunno about the boomslang. its like the uhh...porsche of the mice world sleek aluminium shell, rubberised back, sides and buttons as per standard. it also looks much bigger than it feels, due of cos to the wider buttons which of cos help to stabilize the mouse like how a F1 car is wide and stable the mouse also is very low, so deathadder fans stay away. DA height = 42.5mm CH height = 41mm CE height = 35mm for those moving over from CH, DB etc...the size of the mouse takes just a little getting used to especially for those who play fingertip control style. gripping it also takes some slight adjustment as your ring finger will be slightly spread out, tho its nothing that a CH or DB user cant adapt to. and for those who palm the CH or DB but wishes for a bigger mouse, the CE is the answer to your prayers. just one drawback for me. since im using a clothpad, i can feel extra friction coming from the bottom mouse feet. Whereas both my DB and CH feel extra smooth. perhaps thats why the package also contains extra mouse feet sensor? nothing to say cos everything has already been said about it. |
