Not Cool???!!! NOT COOL???!!!!

To me it's still the sleekest and collest keyboard.

It doesn't need fancy lighting or stuff like that...... just plain menacing out from the box..........

So, does the gaming keyboard give you an edge? I see the point of a good mouse...but not keyboard. As long as I have a decent keyboard (mine's MS Comfort Curve 2000), it's good enough...

shows u dont try / play enough keyboards.

i remember trying a samsung kb at a cafe...damn unresponsive...
even my clanmates then also all complained...

also try gaming with those stupid ergonomic keyboards...

and my old logitech newtouch...which is a damn good keyboard...after awhile of jumping like mad everywhere in UT etc...the spacebar started dying...

and even with the newtouch...there were 2 diffrent ones tongue.gif
1 has more tactile feel...1 more springy...the pros all can feel the difference...
and feel of cos is important...like they say...u must be one with ur equipment.

if something even so small is out of place, u will keep on thinking of that stupid thing until ur performance is affected.

and in true malaysian style, they will of cos blame it on their equipment whenever lose badly.

tho not all gaming keyboards are good...like the everglide t-1000...!@#!%!@#$!@#!@
thats why i dont even bother with watever 'gaming' keyboards that companies like A4tech or watever putout.

stick with the tried and tested, like razer tongue.gif

I had two types of Newtouch before. One is rounded at the edges, the other is not. I preferred the one non-rounded one. I'm not too fond of having bling bling keyboards like Logitech's G-15 or whatever that seem to attract 12 year olds more than tehy do adults. Razer's both keyboards look good but I'm not too sure that they would perform better than my normal cheap keyboards. Mouse affect my work, play, recreation, etc. Keyboards? I don't think it does much...as long as it is comfortable and has that tactile feel.

yea, so u know the keyboard matters.
my saitek performs better than my newtouch...and my spacebar is still alive tongue.gif
but the razer, ppl are buying it more for the macro capabilities.
and some are buying it just cos its razer...fanboi will always be fanboi tongue.gif

the day razer releases a lycosa like keyboard without the rubber coated crap and touch panel crap, is when i will get a razer keyboard.
wait, that sounds like the tarantula...hmm... tongue.gif

A full LCD keyboard would be CRAP for gaming....... I'm even having my doubts on the optimus being a gaming keyboard.

The key thing that a good gaming keyboard MUST have is a fast response time, comfortable keys and a well laid out layout.

A Back light is needed if you like bling or game alot in the dark..... but even that, if you're a pro gamer, you should know where all the keys are already tongue.gif

Imo. nuthin special, looks like a 'lcd based' keyboard, i mean, if ppl can make those 'lcd touchscreen', they can make tis keyboard easily.

And i dont think much ppl like typing on 'touchscreen' due no 'tactile' feeling at all...

Cheers tongue.gif

Razer deathadder
Everglide titan gaming mat

I choose deathadder instead of my original planning razer krait bcos it more fit my hand...
but after all i din found any special about the mouse except its design look cool and moving more smooth...tongue.gif...
Maybe i still new to it and should try it at gaming 1st...
