Doesnt matter in terms of brand, as long as its 5 star and higher BTU, then you are fine.

betul ka ini statement?
QUOTE(empire @ Oct 25 2021, 06:44 PM)
If you use air con for only 2-3 hours a day, no need to buy inverter. the difference in electric bill is so little. Buy inverter only if you use 8 hours air con everyday....then only can you justify the high price to buy inverter

Wrong. Inverter aircond provide savings once it reach the desired temperature. How many hours run perday does not matter. What matter is how fast the you got the ROI from paying higher priced inverter aircond from running just a few hours per day.

i thought inverter tech uses a device to constantly keep temp at desired level, where by conventional is still uses the compressor start-stop tech in which the start-stop process itself consumes more electricity, hence higher bill... no?

Yes. Once reach the desired temperature, the aircond does not need to run at 100% anymore, the compressor is capable to run at lower speed, without having to off/on. This is where the savings comes from.

BTU based on sizing room and Energy efficiency, Also the energy input. Inverter gave better yield.
