I have an onexox number that was working fine in USA. But until recently it couldn't register on any service in USA, phone is showing No Service. Any ideas on why this happens?

Could be related to AT&T's 3G shutdown, as Celcom is using AT&T as roaming partner. Maybe try roam on T-Mobile?

AT&T will eventually go 4G/5G network only

I've contacted OneXox and I honestly don't know if they can help or not.

They should be able to "trace" the issue worldwide. If lots of XOX overseas customers call the careline, the tech team should be active right now. But, if only u report the issue, for sure XOX won't waste their resources to solve the problem.

I just bought the number few months ago and it was working then in USA. Cue to March 2022, suddenly it wasn't working anymore. I extended the validity to 2025.

I'm going through back and forth with OneXox, they have asked me to restart my phone several times and it's still not working. I think you're right. I like Onexox tho because of its long validity.

Well dueto the shutdown of 3G in Malaysia the call qualty and data sucks
I also MNP to a bigger telco which XOX offer almost the same thing.
Btw i MNP to celcom for i am a dealer of Celcom now

Something like that happened to my Tunetalk recently. It turns out that it's AT&T restricting the type of phones allowed onto their network. I researched for a long time and during one reboot, I noticed I hooked onto AT&T for just a split second. So that told me the SIM was working but AT&T kicked it out after that.

What I did was to buy a phone on the approved list: https://www.att.com/idpassets/images/suppor...ATT-Network.pdf , and Tunetalk SIM card immediately worked.

Weird, roaming devices & SIM shouldn't be affected by the AT&T whitelisting, I've just asked someone familiar with ATT

im facing same issue but in another country, with CELCOM everything was perfect, but now with XOX "NO SERVICE" and they have only few roaming partners so the people who travel a lot will be out of range

Now the problem is, even if i want to MNP i can not as i can not receive the SMS confirmation

Im on eSim prepaid, and need to MNP to eSim prepaid

Any solution guys ?

Maybe u can send the eSIM QR to someone in Malaysia , tell them to add , then tell them to confirm the SMS
after confirm then u can replace the eSIM again and the old eSIM wont work

I had this issue a few years back with celcom when i was in Indonesia. needed to switch out to maxis, but the celcom sim wasn't working. i did the port out request online, and then contacted celcom and told them I to set me as agreed to port out on their system

it worked

but now i am not sure if can still do that for security reasons

I have the same problem too. Based in the UK and unable to receive or make any calls. Strange thing is that I can receive sms but cannot send out sms. Well, good thing is I can receive Tac when needed for my online banking. Super weird though!

I went back last summer and change my sim as I thought sim was the culprit. But when I arrived in the UK, it works well ie. Can receive call and sms but after few days/month, I noticed the same problem recurring again. Been contacting CS team for many times and unfortunately they unable to solve the issue.

Just an update for those who are interested. Shortly after I contacted OneXOX about this issue, it seemed they updated their website to no longer offer connectivity in USA. OneXOX CS team said that their USA roaming partner (AT&T) has shutdown its 2G and 3G network, causing OneXOX subscribers lose connectivity.

Since then, I have switched to Hotlink 365 days plan and it works perfectly now in USA.
