QUOTE(Hoshiyuu @ Feb 22 2022, 09:32 PM)
Cut-off time is 11am AFAIK.

I calculated based on my 1 day interest 0.00819875776 * 360 days = 2.9515527936 (if using 360 day rule) or 0.00819875776*365 = 2.9925465824%.

The previous number was probably me randomly rounding my daily interest to get the rough approximation, either way its like a few cents difference, I couldn't be bothered to be accurate  tongue.gif
*
Pretty sure they use 365 rule because mine correct based on 365 days.

Btw, i banked in last nigh 7pm+ some funds, till now still PENDING. A bit slow.

Guys, do you think KDI Invest is much better than SA? Need your opinion as SA returns have been disappointing..
*
Yeah, Over 1 year +, SA sucks. I'd put some money to test there. Was planning to test for 3 years. Now i am not sure want to put that long.

likely due to KWEB.. especially for the higher risk in the General Investing Portfolio, since allocation for KWEB there will be even more.

KWEB been going down since Feb 2021, from 102 down to today 30+ USD a share:

This is the main reason why I stay away from Stashaway. Their portfolio manager keep very gungho on this ETF.

Nice info. Thanks, will keep this in mind.

If SA stick to their pioneer philosophy by rotating based on SPDR sectors and geographical it would have been green now still

If you seen the 5 years graph they displaying it is worrying that they might even cut loss at the next reopt with KWEB

I rather have SA buy into QQQ instead of XLK  doh.gif
KDI way better than Versa and Simple forget about those rates are proj3cted and not guaranteed  doh.gif
*
Hmm....maybe I will throw my SA testing fund into KDI Invest All-in...

yep, their FPX registration with PayNEt didnt disable "credit card", which is why it was shown.  sweat.gif

they are "working" on it to disable it.
nope, they cant refund back to card. it seems easier to just refund to the registered savings account with KDI.

p/s: any cc that give rewards for FPX?  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Fuhh...keep doing and paying back...wah lau. Profit!

WHether you in SA KDI or MyTheo irregardless markets up or down you still have to pay the fees  doh.gif

If you scared then by all means put your money in gold FD or MMF then  doh.gif
*
If small fees fair lah...you open shop, hire Bangala runs for you, regardless your shop makes money or not, still need to pay Bangala right?

But the fees have to be small lah, especially for small fry investors like me.

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Mar 25 2022, 10:20 AM)
but it is not compounded. so in the long run, it is no good. it will be like FD which you put for lock in 9 month. different here is no lock down
Now I have doubt if we can get those mentioned return when we withdraw all now. Sometimes, it is marketing to trick you that you earn a lot of interest but may not be the case when withdraw now
*
Just treat it as 9 mth FD at 3%. Apa susah. Still a big win. Remember cash also liquid. I can take out some and invest elsewhere when appropriate, WITHOUT LOSING INTEREST. Also good for storing emergency funds.

Many win factors already. Compound or not compound not important

FD got PIDM protection but this doesn't. KDI Invest can still lose money although the risk is minimal.

Comparing it to FD is not apple to apple.

The advantage over FD is it's daily interest. You can take out money anytime without worry losing your whole month interest or whatever month interest like FD.
*
treat it like putting money in Bank Rakyat. Don't have PIDM also. Then can sleep better. laugh.gif

I have put some money in KDI Save too like a savings account since it can be liquidated easier than FD but I do not even dare to put into KDI Invest.

For crypto, is just USDT Earn account with some funds used to explore trading & DCI.
There is still a lot in FD as some were put before the interest rate went down with a tenure 3 to 4 years previously so ya, is still well diversified.

Watching the KDI Invest webinar now...all down and -ve. LOL.

they intend to reduce US equity exposure and place more fund in gold investment, ie SPDR gold trust.

In btw, those who invested in KDI should watch their webinar to get latest update on the investment….can post questions during live session.
