Is the return not 8.21 with 3% (100,000x0.03/365)? How is it 30.39? Need sifu enlighten me icon_question.gif

Edit: unless it is not "daily return", but "total return"?

FAQ

Can I withdraw to a different bank account from the one I initially deposited?
Yes, you may withdraw from a different bank account as long as the bank account holder’s name is solely under your name.

"from" is a typo right?

First time invest in MMF. Fund reflected on account takes so slow. Wanna test withdraw before dumping all remaining fund in, but afraid it gonna drag until next week? Should I just deposit first? bruce.gif

deposited yesterday night, reflected today around 4:36pm. Guess their works cover anything from 11am to the following day's 11am, and the system will reflect the change on account after 430pm?

so, has anyone invested around RM 122,000 ? this would yield around RM 10 daily, and have you realised / withdrawn this amount daily ?

(Minimum withdrawal amount RM10.00)...

Why would you want to do that? confused.gif

Is it normal that KDI request for the sources and value of my wealth? I have only placed in FD before. The banks never request for such info. Why do KDI need it for? Mind sifu share experience please.

EIther DRB or CTOS/CCRIS is triggering it

Most likely if you have PTPN loan borrowings and bad repayment can trigger that’s as we’ll
*
None of the above mentioned.

Anyway, will just declare. Just feel annoyed that they cannot check themselves through their own means. I thought all financial institutions have some kind of "shared" system to know the profile of one person?

QUOTE(lovelyuser @ Mar 17 2022, 08:56 AM)
Oh… most likely is due to mismatch of your income/occupation profile with the investment amount you put in.

Example: a young general clerk who's earning 3k/mth, putting 200k investment

You have triggered AMLA of their system, there's no need to panic if your fund is legitimate, just answer accordingly.

Good to know. I see I see.

Your friend could be accidentally/intentionally declared wrongly on his income profile, and putting too much funds in, Anti Money Laundering is coming after him now.

Checked my profile. It indeed is the problem with my profile. The monthly income stated is less than RM1k. I don't remember I picked that value laugh.gif No wonder AMLA gets triggered blush.gif

Hi all. The RM 350 I deposited on 15 March (RM 100 for saving and RM 250 for investing) hasn't been credited to my investing account, but I have yet to see an update for the investment account.
*
Even when withdrawing, KDI invest needs to take up to 6~7 working days, compared to KDI save with 1~2 working days. Wonder why. Sifu tolong explain?

Hi Guys

My account just got approved and I deposit a large chunk of money to KDI Save at around 5:30PM (Thursday, 17/3/2022)

Question: Will the amount be reflected tomorrow evening (Friday, 18/3/2022) at around 4~5PM? Or will i need to wait until Monday for it to be reflected?
*
High possibility, yes, tomorrow around 4:30pm

Any idea how to calculate the "Return" and "Net Deposit" after making a successful withdraw? Only the "Current Value" is correct.

10,000*((1+0.035)^(1/365)-1) = 0.9425

10,000*0.035/365 = 0.9589

Why is there a difference between the above two formula when both has the same rate 3.5%? FD and Kenanga's way so different.

With the implementation of the new formula, the rate is no longer as advertised. From today onwards, the existing money, that is invested at 3% previously, is actually invested at a lower rate, not 3% anymore. 3.5% is just a cover up. hmm.gif
Edit: I'm referring to amount greater than 50k.

the old 3% and 2.5% remain the same if follow previous calculation, mana boleh gostan? Fd rates all going up.
*
But... but... I apply the new formula onto my previous daily records/data. The new formula actually generates lower values. If amount greater than 50k, that's quite significant rclxub.gif
Anyway, already plan to move the excessive amount. Guess Kenanga just want to hasten my decision. laugh.gif

Since Oct 1st, falls on weekend, the calculation will be calculated on Monday as we do not operate during weekend. The calculation is meant for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. You may check your account again after 5 pm as the updates is between 4pm to 5 pm during business days only.
*
Is this true? I checked my records. Sat and Sun was still on 3%. Only Mon was on 3.44% (50k) and 2.956% (>50k). If they updated on Mon, why Sat and Sun is not updated too? shocking.gif
Kenanga should have an announcement section to update "what's new" to prevent confusion. Their feedback section has weird number-of-words limitation. Cannot even describe my problems. wtf.

Have been away from Kenanga for quite a while. I remembered their EAR terminology has different definition. So, what's the actual EAR of the advertised 4% EAR?
