Just to share withdrawal timing.
19/09/2022 09:44 - Submit Withdrawal Request 19/09/2022 16:46 - Received confirmation email that the withdrawal has been process successfully. Transaction marked as Successful in KDi App. 19/09/2022 23:00 - Checked bank account. No money in account. yet. Went to bed. 20/09/2022 07:00 - Money deposited to account. Like most sifus pointed out, money probably was deposited around after 23:00ish. |

For KDI Invest, when I look at the monthly statements, I see there were a lot of fund movement by looking at the opening allocation and closing allocation.
Every month the opening and closing allocation are completely different. e.g, opening they may allocate 40% to VOO , SPY then suddenly the during the closing the VOO and SPY allocation becomes 0%, and the allocation would appeared in a different fund. Isn't this bad that moving the money from one fund to another fund frequently, since it involves selling/buying + fees? |

Hi Sifu,
I noticed that the interests is no longer compounded and the interests is given only on the "Net Deposit". I remembered when KDi save started, the interests are compounded (interests is calculated based on the balance from yesterday after interests credited). Is that the case now? |

I'm getting daily interest and when I calculate it using the formula given in the KDI website, I always have few cents more.
https://digitalinvesting.com.my/save/ Formula given: Daily Interest Amount=Value of investment × ((1+EAR)^(1⁄365)-1 ) |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Apr 9 2024, 11:28 PM) The formula in T&C need to be tweaked. Thanks for the nominal rate. Can I know what's the nominal rate for > 50k?You need to use nominal rate of 3.92228% p.a. and calculate amount x nominal rate / 366 This way my calculation matches exactly like KDI result on the day itself. The rate given by KDI is 3.50% |

QUOTE(ronnie @ May 1 2024, 01:36 PM) Thanks for sharing. Just to be sure:The formulate to use is? first 50k: =ROUNDDOWN(B3 * ((1 + 3.92228%) ^ (1/366) - 1),2) next 50k: =ROUNDDOWN(B3 * ((1 + 3.44026%) ^ (1/366) - 1),2) This post has been edited by Sitting Duck: May 2 2024, 05:14 PM |
