Seems like both the user and referred person need to invest 250 minimum into the KDI Invest before can earn referral bonus. Just did it.. Chose Balanced portfolio. Better than get nothing if just have KDI save:

Strongly against investment in KDI Invest. My risk profile is “conservative” but it ended invested in “Agressive” porfolio for me. Send email to customer service but after two days still cannot find out what is the problem. in the mean time i have to bear the losses.

well even banks can fall.. if want safest then go for Fixed Deposit.. problem with that is funds are locked for a duration. Got PIDM protect up to certain amount.

Did a test withdrawal of 10 bucks. Transaction section says success, but at my Maybank account couldn’t see it. Will wait tomorrow see if the amount reflected or not. Double checked my account number and saw it is correct.

Since last year,....there are investors moving out of SA into some other platforms that had heavy US equities portfolio...

and they had been telling that they are very pleased with the result....alot better than what SA had made for them.

I realize a potential threat for investors of KDI, there's no phone line for us to call in.

If there's something urgent and important, example wrong deposit amount recorded, sudden missing of funds, we can only rely on the online support, which takes about 2~3 working days to response.

Called Kenanga Investors 03-2172 3123, operator taichi to Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd 03-2172 2888, then operator responded no direct line or no extension for KDI, can only get them through email or online support, the operator add on: This is the instruction by KDI team 

I am imagining if I were to make a withdrawal, and expect to reach my bank but it doesn't realize, my fund deducted from KDI, receive no money in my bank account to settle whatever my loan shark debt  ......how?

the time it takes them to process transfer is really pissing me off

i haven't transfer out, but just planning ahead in case need money.
if the withdrawal is a hassle then i will need to keep sufficient cash balances elsewhere
