QUOTE(CommodoreAmiga @ Nov 26 2022, 08:37 PM) Hmm...my current daily FPX limit is 50k, then i change it to 80k to test. The PBSecure thing seems to be not working now. Very slow. But my Daily transfer limit for IGN/Duitnow etc is Max 50k, currently set to 20k. Maybe it's this that also affects the FPX? Not sure, but can't test now. Thanks anyway. This is what my fpx screen look like

QUOTE(CommodoreAmiga @ Nov 27 2022, 06:06 AM) Yeah, mine was previously 50k, but I can only FPX 20k out to another bank. I can change this number now (changed to 80k last night), but I don't think this is the limiting factor as I suspect the daily transfer limit is also a condition (currently 20k). What is your daily transfer limit for 3rd part/Duit Now/ IGB transfer? Daily transfer limit is 50k for me. I think that is the max i can go up to.

QUOTE(hedfi @ Dec 11 2022, 09:21 AM) 😅 Actually accidentally put in invest, wanted to put in save but since put already, leave it there lor. First month was having 0.5% return, not bad. And then it went south from there I suspect the funds are all invested overseas in a foreign currency. Since the election, ringgit has strenghtened so much against most other currencies so naturally you would expect your funds balance to drop. Another thing to note is how much commission your fund is charging. My fund charges about 0.1% (in Aust) and that is quite competitive - i suspect fund managers in Msia charges at least 2%/annum on your balance. It is important to know the commission the funds charge otherwise all the money you invest in are eaten up in fees. Malaysia is not a country where fees are publicly announced (transparently lacking) which is partially the reason why foreign funds are reluctant to come in.

I put in a withdrawal for 15k this morning but now realise i don't need the funds now. Does anyone know if we can cancel the withdrawal request?
If not, i put back in tomorrow.
Should have a function to cancel a withdrawal in Kdi.

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Dec 22 2022, 02:59 PM) Cannot. I accidentally transferred money to KDI invest no way for me to reverse it other than let the transfer proceed and transfer back to KDI save. Thank you. Lost 1 day interest on 15k

QUOTE(gooroojee @ Dec 24 2022, 10:33 AM) I checked my November statement for KDI. Return as per KDI statement and calculation is 0.278% for the month, which when multiplied by 12 is only 3.336%. instead of 3.5% EAR... On a separate note, Touch N Go's Go+ daily return was 3.45% yesterday... Btw, it is perfectly fine to discuss and reply comments without using derogatory or demeaning words on other forumers. Putting people down doesn't make anybody smarter, it just reflects that you have nothing intellectual to offer any more. This forum is to share info and also find help. I got 86c interest from TnGo and my balance is about 9,380 yesterday. Works out around 3.334%. Didn't check my wife's phone today. Her balance also about the same balance as myself. Last few days her interest also around 83 or 84c.

QUOTE(Optizorb @ Dec 24 2022, 11:17 AM) so go+ on par with kdi now.. but go+ got potential to go even higher. i can see it going to 3.5 to 3.6 in the following weeks. which just proves my point earlier. kdi save is already "low" and that is promotional rate even.. if they dont at least continue it but return back to normal rate of 3% can say goodbye. hope kdi will revise their rates soon. Actually i am quite happy with kdi with 3.5%. I just want some place to park some 'lazy' money - for me my lazy money is about 50k which is for emergencies like hospital fees or unforeseeable expenditure. Have credit card to cover emergencies but also nice to have some cash in hand. I used to leave about 20k in my main MBB savings acct but now i only keep about 8k or 9k in my main MBB savings acct (actually i keep in total more like 12k or 13k because i got so many accts with just 1k dormannt in it).

QUOTE(Optizorb @ Dec 24 2022, 12:19 PM) have to keep in mind this is promotional rate effective until 31st of this month only.. come 1st jan which is just 1 more week, will go back down to 3%. and 1 more week only still no news from them whether got any revised promo or not.. if really nothing, i doubt that time you will be happy with the 3%.. dont get me wrong. kdi still good place to park money because they have higher limit of 50k for people like you and me, compared to go+ 9.5k only which is not sufficient for us. but for people who have 10k only or lower, now go+ seems like the better choice. and go+ is better at liquidity cause can use for payments directly. in fact if go+ keeps going up i myself will remove 9.5k from kdi save and put back into go+. i recently did the reverse of this and all-in kdi save cause decided didnt wantto use the money anytime soon, so keep into kdi better because its more secure and also can act as a forced savings. sometimes if left in go+ and hand itchy make impulse purchases. anyway just wishful thinking, hope kdi will do another round of promotion and give better revised rates than current to keep up with competitors. because i really dont want to put back into go+ for reasons mentioned above i think kdi will keep the 3.5% after the promotionl period because if they drop to 3%, a lot of funds will move out. Personally for me, this short term money is a very small part of my portfolio as most of my funds are overseas in Sydney (where i have worked all my life) so even if i get 3%, i think i will still keep my funds in kdi.

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Feb 2 2023, 10:20 AM) any financial dealings, always observe KL Public Holidays this is critical when we need to withdraw kdi fund for specific time-sensitive purposes (eg pay bill, rentals. fees etc) Good to know this. I wanted to ask yesterday but since Bursa was not operating, i was guessing kdi is probably on holiday as well. I thought kdi is automated and should allow deposits and withdrawals (e-fd can withdraw/deposit any day of the week) regardless of the day since the marketing by kdi implies it is operated by AI (shouldn't need human intervention).

QUOTE(xander2k8 @ Mar 30 2023, 02:00 PM) Check with Maybank side 🤦♀️ might have issues if it is not deducted from your account or Trustee haven’t received it from them yet I rang FPX and they said the funds will be in my acct after work today. Fpx says it can take 1 to 3 days for funds to show. First time it is taking 2 days to show. Normally by around 4.30pm i would see the funds being deposited when i put in before 11am.

QUOTE(xander2k8 @ Mar 30 2023, 04:16 PM) If FPX informed you that then problem lies in Maybank end 🤦♀️ Otherwise you can try other banks to see whether the problem persists Actually i just check after writing my previous post and the 15k is in. I have deposited at least 40 or 50 times in the past 3 months and each time it will show after 4.30pm on the same day - first time this has happened showing credited amount the second day even though funds were deposited before 11am..

QUOTE(xander2k8 @ Mar 30 2023, 04:37 PM) Then you ask Maybank why is this happening because the fault lies in their end 🤦♀️ Sorry i meant to say Kdi and not fpx - my mistake. I have been typing in fpx instead of kdi. I meant to say that i deposited in 15k to Kdi Save and amount is not showing on Kdi. I am getting a bit of dementia at age 61

QUOTE(xander2k8 @ Mar 30 2023, 08:41 PM) Then you should ask KDI why it is happening If it is only Maybank customers affected I am sure many would have make noises before you I didn't want to kick a big fuss out of it - all i want is to be able to see the funds in my acct. They did send me an email (as i have also logged a case using the Support - Contact Us) saying that funds deposited will be in the acct with 1 or 2 days. I have deleted the email.
