838 pro mini usb and N95 mini usb cable ,both is da same ,juz brand and manufacture different ,and har i can even use this N95 cable to connect with my olympus camera (i can tell u is da same)


and TS ,maybe that shop cheating u ,coz when u wan claim warranty ,the seller will give thousand excuse


(last time i have phone actually is joystick problem but that so hai seller say my phone get water damage ,so no warranty ,then i direct bring to back to that ap dealer ,then they fixed it -if really water damage ,u think they will repair for me for free)

hm.. i send it to dopod authorized center.. they maybe cheating me but he prove and show to me after the set infected by water, there is a sign shown.. At the same time when i arrived i saw there is a lot new set of 838 pro. He even open it and show to me..

nope SiS is quite reliable. my company dealt with them. i've been there couple of times already. they do know what they're doing. although sometimes they gave the wrong order .

Because last time i bring my 6600 to AP company and somemore my friend told me how they tactic(he was working at there). Starting that day i never trust AP company..

When i handout my set and he found the sign he take the new set(838 pro) and show it to me. So i dun think they able to cheating. I was sitting at there. My set also not passing around

its the connector problem ??but last time i heard that 1 seller claim taht after update wm6,the keypad cannot used ,or u need to reflash ??

because i told her the usb part cant be use.. and then the screen u was pointing to top, mid or any place but it will press another part of screen where is left bottom(duno how to say it) Then he ask do u do any screen alignment? I say yes. He ask again, "Hard reset?" I answer yes.

Then he said do u want to leave your set here? I said it ok. He said need about 3 day working time. Then the assistant open, and then he found the sign. He told me it probably infected by water. Then he told me maybe is the motherboard. And to fix it, its about 1k+. Then i ask does it need charge if under warranty? He say , "u need to pay. So do u want to leave your set here?" I ask.. So it was infected by water, then he take the new set and show it to me the different

Maybe will go there again ask for 1 more time..

For the first time i also thinking maybe its a firmware problem. But will it affect the sync? If it cant be connected how it able to sync before this? So today i got my answer from SiS and it answer all my question mark. So far i only found upgrade to WM 6 only some key not able to use(the one who using official dopod WM 6 firmware, searched before i own this.) But i juz wondering about the price.. 1k+..

any mini usb cable would do.
I use only 1 cable for my external hard disk, dopod m700, my motorola v3X and my Atom.

You have messaged him all this while regarding the problem right?
So if he's not replying and still denying.........then he would be at fault.

But obviously you also need to show proof that you did message him so that ppl wouldn't think that you are conning also because the dopod is already in your hand for a substantial time. (if you got what i meant)

exactly boon, i cant do anything coz the dopod is already been in his hand for like wat 2weeks now, anything cud have happened during tat period of time right.

to those who are saying im cheating and all, thank u very much, i dont really care.

i sold to him nicely, we cod, he checked everything and all. and if there is water damage, there no chance on earth u can use the dopod...

u are wrong..any set drop in to water still useable except certain function..when the set leave to dry for certain time it can be power on..however it will leave brown mark on the broad due to leakage of the component cause by mixing of water with the material in component.... i`m hp shop owner and repairer as well.. the batery power is not enought to short circuit the whole board just certain part will effect..

from the answer u give on usb cable has give some hint that u try to confuse buyer that dopod838pro only connect use dopod mini usb cable.. but u wont know here is too many user know the fact dopod original usb cable can buy from any pc shop for RM10 ...

Im not sure if your set is really faulty, why dont you try to hard reset the phone. For 838p, you need to press a combinations of button to get it hard reset. Google for it. Then the OS will be new

I'm also 838pro user, for my experience, any mini USB cable well do. Since the seller have so many bad records therefore mod of this forum should black list the seller.

fine then blacklist me if u all want. but just think, he himself cud be cheating here, he made the dopod spoilt, and now asking the money back. so there is a 50 50 chance..

why u guys have to jump to conclusion so soon.. and how on earth wud i know n95 cable cud be used on dopod so dont go saying im making the buyer confuse. u people's brain are weird..
