How do you guys change your car coolant?

Btw fun fact for your car cooling system.

Any type of water only - Bad
Tap water / mineral water + coolant - can use but not recommended
Reverse osmosis water + coolant - can use but not recommended
Distilled water / soft water + coolant - Good
Factory premix coolant only - Best

What my regular mechanic told me. Only change engine oil n filter.
Other kind of oil only need to top up if became less.
This is what he said when I ask him to change my steering n brake oil

Perhaps the price difference due to concentrated coolant vs diluted (premix) coolant.

All this is useless if thermostat not in optimal function

i use green color coolant only... bought from AEON lol mitsubishi brand

You just need coolant that prevents rust. You don't need expensive antifreeze coolant.
Our weather doesn't get cold enough for that.

I used GEP type 2 coolant + spritzer distilled water same like your picture.
Honda type 2 coolant finish...

Coolant also got different types. Cheap or expensive type.
Wan good and cheap, get OAT type coolant. Lasts longer.

I just know if u didnt burp the coolant until all air come out, around 20-30 minutes usually, your temperature will be higher by 5 degree for my car.

My.radiator water i use spritzer distilled water.

Change mechanic la. Steering and brake oil need to change after certain mileage although its quite long la. Even for coolant need to partially change it by drain the radiator at least (40-50% change).

Yeah thats why some say for our climate, even 15% coolant 85% water is enough.

I agree we dont need the antifreeze in coolant, but if too less coolant...im afraid the rust prevention additives (prevent coolant become too acidic + prevent rust) is too little. Like maybe few months use finish liao and rust starts forming. As each coolant manufacture didnt state it. So finally its still best if use premix only.
