U ma force maxis to activate lo. Tell them activate or not will not cost them additional money as you are paying for the volte services. Unless they say "we are charging officially supported devices users rm5 to activate VOLTE", otherwise they have no reason not to activate.

My experience is kinda terbalik with most people here. I'm using China set redmi k30 pro zoom (2020).

Volte works with digi, but no 4g+ and sms not coming thru with vowifi on airplane mode. Outgoing sms is all right though.

As for maxshit, after tinkering mbn to telenor_denmark, everything works great. Volte, carrier aggregation, vowifi as well. Only problem with maxis sms is currently not supported in airplane mode with vowifi I believe (tested on my bros z flip 3 and verified by others on maxis vowifi tered).

For hotlink, Honor 8x no volte yet even it on their whitelist. Also try on my old asus max m1 also no volte. Lol.

During qualcomm 625 generation, you are paid (for software driver) to unlock VoLTE feature, because during that period, China mainland just pushing VoLTE to forcing more customer using 4G instead of 3G because of phone call, as it is quite unstable to force enable it during that time yet, you may get no call in and fallback to 3G/2G.

For example, Mi Max 2, it required to rename the driver name to unlock VoLTE feature that works.
And nope, Xiaomi don't unlock it until stop maintaining it.

There is another phone like Realme C2, 450(downgrade frequency of 625), paid for unlocking VoLTE and VoWIFI for India Jio at last update, but locked it for Jio telco only.

Anyways, the worst is not no VoLTE, but failed for fallback to 2G.
Try calling someone and found out you can't call him, only because he got a crappy/buggy VoLTE enabled, and no way to workaround it.

And yes, maybe WhatsApp that guy can be done, but still...

DiGi 2017 Postpaid user using until 2022, VOLTE & VOWIFI (Also called VoIP) function as normal, My device are Samsung Galaxy A72.

If having VoLTE issue,

Some of the RM0.7k mid end entry device - 1.2k high end entry device are not supported base on chipset

But to be honest, 2022 already... I believe those RM800 phone must comes with those two function.

If your device are not supported, I'm sorry you can't get the those service.

If your device are supported, may have a call to TELCO Service Center hotline to make sure your VOLTE was active,
Back on 2018-2019 DiGi firstly on Malaysia having VOLTE function, when I was using my old Samsung Galaxy A50 which is supported those two function but I didn't see the function active!
I need to call CS hotline to active, and make sure your SIM card are in new patch, old SIM card does not support.

For WOWIFI,
Kindly have a check on your device on the manufacture user manual does your device supported for Vo-WIFI, also the does the router have this function or not?
After 2019, new WiFi required to login into router system to setup VoIP section, also if your using TELCO haven't got VOIP function... you only just wait.... they announcement having that function... hahahaha

low end android phone RM300 price range support VoLTE if device manufacture want to support. It has nothing to do with price or soc.

+1 any recent Android phone even below RM500 has VoLTE. This isn't a new tech in the first place.

Insert sim card, VoLTE, VoWifi auto pop up, no activation
Umobile 2017 sim card

After that insert back old tablet, no VoLTE and no Vowifi

For those without VoLTE and 3G, so far any issue with voice call and SMS? Is the voice call quality significantly lower compare to previously (fallback to 3G)?

Since some point in last year, whenever visiting specific areas, my Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact internet speed will drop to unusable speed (google, MySejahtera, ewallet all stop working), even though status bar shows connected to 4G with strong signal. Found a workaround eventually, annoying but proven working: switch to Flight mode, disconnect from telco network for a minute or two, then reconnect again, speed will immediately restore to 4G standard. Interestingly my 8 years old iphone doesn't run into this issue. I wonder if this has anything to do with the VoLTE thing (but it happens even if no voice call is going on). Anyone facing this?

As my old device without volte, when calling just drop back 3G, (umobile still got 3G but only for calling, no internet) and when turn back 4G, no problem with internet, just running normal

SMS does not fallback 2G 3G, still on 4G

Previously we always fallback to 3G before VoLTE comes into picture, so I'm not worrying about that. My concern is on the new common - without 3G. Judging by official FAQ from Maxis, I don't think they did capacity planning to ensure there'll be sufficient capacity to support 2G fallback. That's why I'm wondering about the quality and stability of voice call on 2G nowadays.

Good to hear that you didn't face the data speed issue I encountered. It could be caused by my phone's aging, just that I've been puzzling why it only happens in specific regions.

The "handshaking" was not properly configured by the Technician for that region(s).

I'm not sure why it happens on my phone... whenever access to google and ewallets giving timeout error, usually MySejahtera on my phone will take very long to open. With stares from people queuing behind, it's quite embarrassing, have to move out of the queue and let other people check in first

If MySj stuck during launch, turn on Flight Mode. Once scanned, turn off Flight Mode.

Yup, that's what I normally do. I visit the affected area 2/3 times a day, have been keep doing this disconnect/reconnect thing everyday.

Does the Nokia 105 4G support VOLTE?

Or lock the MySj to always running in the background...
