Dear all,

Appreciate if you guys can give your input on VOLTE on non officially supported devices. I'm running a Redmi Note 5 Pro which is not offically supported, but I have managed to enable VOLTE as provisioned.

And yes, its my fault for not earning 20K MYR a month to buy the latest and greatest phones Team Apple and Team Samseng can offer...

Unifi Bebas - VOLTE works even though my device not officially supported..

Hotlink Pantas - called up to enquire if maxis can enable VOLTE on my device. Their reply is VOLTE can only be enabled for devices on their officially supported list.

I use Digi. And I'm having volte on both my Poco X3 Pro and Huawei Nova 4e though unsupported device. I remember when Digi had this volte and I asked them to activate for me, they say my device is unsupported. Anyway they still activate for me

Still, Digi will activate VOLTE for you, upon request, even though not officially supported. Maxis will not.  mad.gif

U ma force maxis to activate lo. Tell them activate or not will not cost them additional money as you are paying for the volte services. Unless they say "we are charging officially supported devices users rm5 to activate VOLTE", otherwise they have no reason not to activate.
