So far, my S22 Ultra is ok, like new after repair. No more issues of green lines. Hopefully it can last another 2 yrs before buying new hp again.

Already turn off auto update. Will keep in mind never to update software via OTA update.

After filing Tribunal claim, it took almost a month for me to get free screen replacement for my S22 Ultra

For my case, first I emailed Samsung CEO to ask for free screen replacement since the green line is due to manufacturing defect. Samsung replied and ask me to send to service centre for evaluation check. So I send to SC and told the person serving me that Samsung requested me to do so and paid non refundable RM80 for it. After checking, Samsung called and said that I need to pay RM600 plus for the screen replacement since my S22 Ultra is more than 2 years old and out of warranty. Samsung wanted me to pay so I filed Tribunal claim. After filing, I emailed Form 1 (downloaded from Tribunal) to inform Samsung CEO that I already filed Tribunal claim.

You have to decide whether to file Tribunal claim straight away instead of taking the way/steps I went through to get free replacement. I send to SC because Samsung asked me to do so. If you send now, SC will ask you to pay non refundable RM80 to check your hp. After checking SC will call and inform you that you need to pay RM for the replacement and ask whether you are agreeable to it.

Then you need to send to Samsung service centre for evaluation check so that SC can prepare a Technical Report. SC will ask you to pay non refundable RM80 for checking. Show the email you received from Samsung CEO and let them know that Samsung ask you to send in for checking. If possible, print out the email and pass it to SC (which I did). After this, just wait for Samsung to call you. Please bear in mind that it will take some time for them to contact you.

Note: Service Centre might/will call you and tell you that you need to pay RM for the repairs, If it does, then tell them you already file Tribunal Claim and will only accept or settle for free replacement/repair.

Only emailed to Samsung. Did'nt go to Tribunal court cos Samsung called me (within 14 days from the day I emailed Form 1 to Samsung) to offer free screen replacement which I have accepted.

Cannot download Form 1 to fill up. It must be filled up online and then submit online to Tribunal. After submitting, can save Form 1 to computer and then email to Samsung.
