You can’t be rough with Apple leather cases. I carry my iPhone 13 when running, use it for music listening during shower, dock in car phone holder multiple times a day, place on dinning table outside which may not be clean and often use my phone with greasy hands during meals… for my use cases I switch to silicone case.

My last leather case developed unsightly stains, peeling and tiny knits just after 3 months of use.

Your mileage may vary with leather case.

I prefered Nomad for build quality.. patina also not bad

Just got the Apple Midnight MagSafe Leather Case and Apple Midnight MagSafe Leather Wallet for my iPhone 13 Pro Max (photo below).

Read that the patina/wearing may end up quite unsightly on the brighter colours so went with a really dark colour this time. ☺️



Something different to alternate between my other cases (I also have the Apple Silicone Case that I use when I’m doing my runs outdoor, and the Apple Clear Case which I seldom use nowadays since the bottom part is exposed).

I got RM100 voucher from machines that I still haven't spend.
The voucher only can use to buy iPhone case, limited ipad and mac accessories.
Thinking to get black leather case. But saw many horrible patina photos.
But many said that the black one looks fine tho even after long.
still thinking hmm.

Yeah. I believe the dark shade colours like Dark Cherry are still ok. But bright colours like Golden Brown, etc - I certainly will stay away from for now.

So far, I’m loving my Midnight Apple Leather Case on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. It just feels so good to hold in the hand compared to a plasticky case or a silicone case.

Just that I need to always swap it out when I’m doing outdoor activities which are exposed to the elements (rain, water, heavy sunlight, etc) ☺️

While i'm interested to use the voucher from machines to get the casing, after I check with their live chat today.
They told me the voucher only can use on that day during my phone collection. Which is last week.
I'm extremely pissed now because the staff never told me!.
This is freaking stupid. I'm emailing them now.
