I use both Laz and sopee. Buy whichever offer less for the same product. So far, mostly sopee win because of the free shipping voucher.

Grocery items shopee still cheaper. Lazada idk why the price is much higher padahal it's from the same store

Both have their strengths

Lazada best for event sales, especially for large value item.
Shopee best for small value item especially during coinsback hours, can sometime get 30-90% off in equivalent coinsback.

I only buy from shopee if can receive and redeem coins. Free shipping is a joke, only 1 per month or something. And now, many sellers cannot get coins anymore.

Sometimes, brick and mortar is cheaper. Aeon got CNY sale now, items are cheaper than buying online. Go figure. Who says retail is dead?

no wonder shopee dare to keep increasing the price. so many still have the thinking that shopee is the cheapest

if really do homework and compare (like someone above with calculations), actually nowadays shopee the most expensive

it's too bad because shopee used to be heavy competition with lzd so end up both giving competitive price. unfortunately consumers now just surrender to shopee's gimmick, end up now shopee monopolise and less price competition (in fact people happily spend more at shopee)

very surprised people willing to pay more at shopee, again i blame it on the shopee gimmick, blinding consumers

another thing is the whole site design, search function and reviews. shopee has much better search system and more products to choose from including overseas. also the total reviews with photos is alot more than lazada. so far for the things that i need to buy shopee has more choices that has free shipping. i want to support lazada but less items and the app is just so buggy.

yes i actually had the same thinking as you last time. shopee comes out with more hits and choices that suits my searches compared to lzd. but i realised in order to tackle the lackluster search by lzd, i use shopee as my screening search first. once i find the item i want, i use keyword from shopee and apply in lzd search. easier

yes lzd has less review because no gimmick like in shopee for rewarding coins by reviewing. end up nowadays even with many reviews at shopee i can't trust them because poor quality review, people just want to get few coins so simply give reviews. i found lzd reviews are more critical. and those without review, i realise lzd offer better support for returns if item is not good. many times shopee seller don't honour returns and headache when shopee CS also side with shopee seller. and the negative reviews is negligible because end up they still retain preferred status

The thing is the vouchers in shopee are very limited and time limited. All snatched up by bots before we are able to purchase anything. Meanwhile lazada has 100-10 and free shipping and we don't have to camp after 12.
