Shopee you get the voucher doesn't mean you can use it, there is 'limited use'. Must use after start time (like 12am).

Lazada has 'limited collect' for the voucher, once they release it if you don't get it its gone. They sometimes refresh it throughout the day, but either you check every other hour and depends on luck. If you get it though then you can definitely use it as long within the voucher's validity period.

what's the difference between preferred seller and non?

priced higher + the free shipping voucher didn't cover the whole shipping fee(for sabah)

I think can only redeem coin from preferred.

Do sellers still have to pay for the cashback or Shopee covers the cashback cost from the 7% merchant fee?

If Shopee covers the cashback it still makes sense for Sellers to sign up. Sellers can mark up to 8- 9%, pay shopee 7% and buyers still get 10% cashback

Also does Shopee cover the shipping cost for merchants in the free shipping program?

2% transaction fee, 2% marketplace fee. 6% SST. 4.24%.

Assuming you take the full package,

2% tx fee
2% marketplace fee
7% RM15 free shipping + cashback

11.66% fee.

No cashback maybe still can compete but no free shipping and you're in a competitive product range, no chance. If profit margin is 10%, means doing charity

Still lasapda too less sellers selling compared to shopee.

Certain niche product i can find on shopee. But not laaapda. Quite alot products available on shopee but not lasapda

Yup. Shopee already makan a lot from the full package but I'm lucky enough to still be able to work things around lah. Plus they recently reached out for priority seller. Looking forward to that.
