Cast iron has low heat conductivity but has good heat retention but unless you serve your food in pot, then no advantage
I used all type whichever on sales

. Stainless steel, ceramic, PFOA, PTFE, and cast iron. Well any non-stick type will not last. The property will run off sooner or later. With proper use probably, Teflon type last longer but the ceramic is easier to use since it is more durable, which I prefer the most.

cast iron probably the best but the after care is a pain in the ass. and i dont have an oven to properly heat it for the after care.
Can use with induction cooker?
Induction cooker is more efficient than electric heater. It is safe and can be programmed for duration and intensity
