The graphics look alot more like the real anime compared to Rise of a Ninja on 360. The 360 Naruto game has a very ovbious 3D feel to it. Well IMO

Can a Maybank/Citibank Mastercard/Visa work? If it doesn't, I will have to cancel out on buying US version games. It will be a pain if I can't get the DLC from the US PSN for my US region games.

I guess I found the answer According to the ps3forums member, there are people who are able to purchase from the US PSN with foreign VISA and Mastercard. I guess I will try and purchase Everyday Shooter from the US PSN today then. Hope it works I just hope PSN games are region free

I can't play the demo. I haven't deleted mine yet. Could it be that they released a new demo that fixed the bug? I don't know. I gues those of you who are downloading it right now will need to confirm this.

Problem 1:
Could anyone with an AMBank NextG prepaid credit card confirm that purchasing through the US PSN still works as of this moment? Not through experience but more like an actual purchase at this moment from the US PSN. I think a check by:

1. Selecting something to buy from the US PSN. Try with Piyotama, USD2.99.
2. Enter your NextG card details.
3. At the billing address section, if you are able to proceed to confirm your purchase without any problem..
4. Cancel the purchase and..
5. PM me to confirm that the NextG card still works fine with the US PSN

Really need help on this. Just want to be sure that getting content from US PSN is possible before I apply for that card.

Problem 2:
And do they check your billing address? My normal credit card won't work on the US PSN but it works on the SG PSN with a Singapore billing address. So if I did buy from the SG PSN, what happens?

Do they check my card's billing address and say that my billing address supposed to be from Malaysia but I created a fraud by entering a Singapore billing address?

Well I am waiting for stringfellow and rx's replies.

And it's not about whether PSN games are good or not, well for me there are good games there but that is not the point. My concern is regarding the DLC (download content) of games you purchase from real shops.

If I have a US version of Uncharted, and if ND decides to come up with new DLC for Uncharted, only the DLC of Uncharted from US PSN would work on my US version game.

The Asian DLC for Uncharted would only work with the asian game. Correct me if I am wrong. If you have a US version for Motorstorm or Resistance, try downloading the DLC of either games from the SG PSN. See whether it works. If it works, then one question regarding the PSN is being solved, at least for me if no one else cares about it like I do.

It may seem insignificant now. But what IF, you own an Asian PS3 and you got US PS3 games since the start and later when DLC for games starts popping out, you find out that you can't update your game content because you are unable to purchase from the US PSN. Not sure bout you, but for me it's quite wasted IMHO.

That is why I need this to be clarified. If DLC matters not to anyone, kudos to them but I am a person who loves to keep his game updated. That's just me.

And yes I have been searching for days. But what is the use of the LYN forum if I don't use it to ask questions? There are people who might know this. Right?

Sorry, but I just want to make sure about stuffs. I am investing hundred/thousand of ringgits with my PS3, so I would like to know how things work out.

And yes, I wouldn't mind if no one could answer me, because I will be getting the AMBank prepaid credit card ater I am back from China and test it out myself if no one could answer my question. If it works, then I will post here so that people who are like me would get their questions, answered.

So the billing address does not matter? As long as my US/SG PSN account has it's respective country's address, correct? And regarding the NextG card. Do I need to request for a specific NextG card or there is only one type of NextG card.

Yep I know that, was pointing that out to ruzty. As long as we can download from the US PSN we won't have to try using the Asian DLC to check whether it works on the US game or not.

So I will wait for your update after you purchase your Motorstorm DLC from the US PSN.

On a side note. Technically, this prepaid CC does not have a billing address but stringfellow did point out about SONY closing a loophole. I guess this is the loophole he talked about.

First I debated with myself between getting a US and an Asian game over it's online multiplayer after the Resistance issue.

Now, I am debating with myself again whether to get the US or Asian game because of the CC issue. Lol darn it. How I wish some of this things are unified.

Oh, another reason I want the US version of games is because of the english text on the cover and game manual. And I heard that some Asia/Japanese games are toned down on it's violence.

Oh well. I will jsut have to try my luck then. Thanx for clearing this up.

Eh? How come? Whenever I try to get pass the billing address page, it will say it's an invalid address. Well, the address which was auto-populated on the billing address page is an US address.

When did you make your purchase? Could it still work now?

Hmm. Is your PSN wallet empty right now? You could try going through the top up process. When you get pass the billing address page, it means it works. And don't worry, you could still cancel the purchase on the next page.

Before you post this up, I have been trying around with the billing address.

This is what rx330 thought me:

"ok, heres the thing, ur billing adress must be word by word as the CC company send to u, u can try 2 types, one without the post code as well as malaysia, and another without malaysia

the post code, state and country, leave it the same as ur US address which got u registered in US PSN"

Been trying to the point that the US PSN says that my credit card could not be updated at the moment, in fact both of my Maybank Mastercard and Visa could not be updated at the moment. But do bear in mind, I have not manage to get a hold of the prepaid CC yet to try.

Please bear in mind, when I ask questions, while waiting for answers I google around and fiddle around with stuffs trying to solve the problem myself while waiting for answers. Not getting the wanted results does not mean I did not try at all.

Again, I don't mean to trouble anyone here. If no one could answer me, I won't mind. I have stated I will try it out myself if no one could help me out.

Anyway I will try calling the bank bout my current CC and get a prepaid CC to try it out myself soon. And it feels like my question is quite bothersome. So I will just tell everyone who helped me out so far. Thanx. I will be trying this out myself from now onwards.

That is why, I had a feeling that it is intended that my normal CC won't work but a prepaid CC will be more likely to work. Knowing this fact and I was still trying with my normal CC is because two person has stated they managed to purchase from the US PSN using a normal credit card.

That is why I was still trying with my normal CC even though I felt that a prepaid CC would be a ebtter alternative for me. Well my normal CC is jsut beside me, why not just try it?

And on a side note, I am not proving whether Malaysian CC could work on the US PSN or not. Just trying to look for a CC that works, that's all. So now it's proven that my best choice is to use a prepaid CC. So now everything is settled.
